Go check out a full review done last year by Sanjeev at www.collectiondx.com. Search under "Gaiking", or "Gaiking, The Legend of Daikumaryu" Has pics & video, did a very nice job. Seems worth the money for 3 large, 14" tall, multi-combining robots, and accessories. A store near me has the Most Wanted Stuff at www.mugentoys.com

Thanks guys. Read the review & not bad.But one thing that bothers me is that it has no diecast. All made from PVC & plastic. Is the item durable? Also the review saying something about the kneel joint not very sturdy.

Do the figures come in 2 color versions (anime and metal)?

hi, i have this set. it doesnt come in metal, it is all abs and pvc. but its ultra awesome, if you ask me. if youre interested in it, id say act quick. the 2 ebay sellers that have it each only have one left. your only other option after is mugentoys, at more than double the very friendly 150 USD price (including shipping from HK) you see on ebay. the finish is completely true to the new school anime. there is an interesting story behind this toy set.

This toy really worth the money. It's all strong plastic. The ONLY default is the difference of weight between Raiking upside and downside body : ankle joints need a little bit of glue as reenforcement.

Mine just cleared customs in Los Angeles and I should have it this week. I just purchased one of the few remaining on Ebay last week. I can't wait to see this thing in person. Have already made space for it on my shelf.

let us know what you think after youve assembled the giant gaiking. i kept looking at the box and my shelf thinking "this was only $150?"

Just received it but haven't had the time to fiddle with it. Took a peek inside of the box and was blown away by the sheer size of the components. I'm trying to wait until I finish my homework for the week before I really get into it. I will say that this was my best purchase for 2012. Well worth the $150, and shipping was included. Box is pretty big though. I was really surprised. Man, just talking about it, as it sits next to me taunting me, makes me want to release this big bot/s from its prison. Oh, give me strength to stay focused.

I opened the box, made repairs to Raikings legs as noted by Sanjeev, and I'm really enjoying this thing. I have to say that this is one big bot/s. Will provide pics and more details later. Kind of busy right now but wanted to post to your response. All in all , this is a great set but some work does have to be done prior to enjoying it fully.

I have Gaiking (got him cheap) but I still need to get the others. I freaking love him. For $50 he is an amazing huge figure. The CDX review has some good fixes for the other 2 bots as I understand it. I intend to get the other 2. I kind of wished I had just gotten the box set instead.

there is also a openface version of gaiking that is all black with highlighted orange details, it is my favorite because it looks so mean!!!!

it is in every way identical to the gaiking included in this set, except for the color. it is pretty cool. i have the open face and gaiking the great separately for display. cool stuff for a great price while it lasts.

totally killer pic. im in nagoya, japan right now and have hit up dozens of toy stores between here and osaka. no one here has this set since bandai "banned" it. i showed folks pics of mine and ive got some solid trade offers. i may grab a couple more boxes and have them shipped here. congrats. i like your other figures, too. having shelves of stuff is so much fun to look at. ive seen so many great collections here that i just cant believe. i scored the new large golgo 13 last night. super cool stuff.

I have to agree with you on the visual appeal of the figures. Every now and then I sit back and just enjoy looking at the colors of the figures themselves. This is an awesome hobby. ;D
