Finally got around to Mass Effect 3. Finished the second one months ago but then life sort of got in the way. Also I've been reading the official novels which fill in the gaps in the story-line for one of the supporting character you met in the previous games. Funny to realize that the story is indeed intentionally nearly a "year" later because not only does it seem like the "universe changed while I was away" but even the little things are bugging me the fact that I'm dropped into a world where there are new crew members I didn't know before, the ship looks somewhat different, etc... At least the interface feels the same as before.

Try the multiplayer of ME3. It is actually fun.
Been playing DC Universe Online. Can't beat Free to Play. Took a long time to download but all worth it.

I've been playing a lot of Persona 4 Arena on PS3 of late. It hits my sweet spot of love for the SMT franchise and my love of fighting games, and it doesn't hurt that it's super responsive and tight in how it plays, either.

Been Playing Gundam Battle Operation quite a bit. Game is addictive. Also dabbled a bit in Malicious. That's a pretty refreshing game there. Finally I've had some limited hands-on time with P4A as well. Really cool stuff. This games got some hype! Beautiful presentation style as to be expected from Arc System.
quinjester, is it just me or is Chie Satonaka kinda OP? I mean, she seems pretty broken to me! One of her moves takes off nearly half my HP! DAYUM! (o_0)

One of her moves takes off nearly half my HP! DAYUM! (o_0) Chie can be vicious, but from my own experience playing her she's got some definite downsides; her range is aaaaawful, and her regular persona attacks (especially her D) have a ton of start up time to make them practically useless against anyone who's paying attention. But yeah - if she can get you into that god hand super, it hurts, big time. I've been playing Yukiko and she's crazy fun to play as. Her persona flying everywhere, fans flying everywhere, fire everywhere, she's pretty dangerous from any range, but she's also really fragile so she needs desperately to keep characters like Chie as far away as possible Malicious! That's a neat game - I found out about it from a Giant Bomb quick look ( link) and I had to check it out for myself. It's gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous, and it plays pretty fun too. I haven't been able to beat the queen, though

I tried the Beta of Dust 514 tonight. It might be too ambitious of a game.
I am now playing God of War HD for the first time.

Playing multiplay Transformers FOC (ps3). I just started Darksiders 2 : so boring. It cant beat the first game. It's a Zelda-like without adventure feeling... Graphics are just... ACIIIIID ! old generation game style. I do not have any excitement to on my ps3 for this game. What a big fail from THQ...

I thought Dark Sider 1 was an OK game. It was derivative, and some of the concepts were bad, but it was a decent game. The second one does not catch my attention very much. At this point, the only games I am waiting on are Xcom, and Border Lands 2.

Just got Journey. Best game I played this year. Short but have a good replay value, specially when doing co-op.

Final fantasy 13-2 for me, game is a little more open ended and some aspects have become simpler but it sucks that your basically stuck with the same two characters through the whole game. Adding monsters to your team is a nice touch though.

Playing the Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale beta. It was funny reading Sony representatives trying to convince people that it wasn't a Super Smash Bros clone. It sounded like one, it looked like one and now we can see that it plays like one too. And just like SSB, I suck at it, but it's still fun. And Kratos is the new Ken.

It was fun after a couple of plays and I can see the appeal, but it's just not my bag. I think my favorite had to be Kratos.

You're not alone. I couldn't count how many times my Fat Princess fought three Kratos (Kratoses?) at once. That's why I'm saying he's the new Ken. If you've played Street Fighter IV online, you know what that means.

Anyone tried XCOM enemy unknown? I have played it and it was darn difficult even on normal settings.... I've been playing it (although recently I've been busy and haven't had any time for games ) and having a blast. The game will certainly punish you for being careless - and some of the later game enemies are absolutely brutal in the way they'll take your carefully trained squadmates apart . It's a crazy fun game.
