I have read that people did not find ammo in short supply, however I never got the ammo I wanted. I usually used the buzz saw cause it had the most ammo, and you could make its ammo last longer since it blade could do a full kill on one or two enemies sometimes. I did have much more of an ammo shortage in RE4. I remember walking into the village and 30 people came at me, and I only had like 25 bullets. I am a good shot, but damn you never feel like you have enough bullets for each task which helps keep you on edge.

Some of the early reviews of the game insinuated that ammo will be a little short (I think it was the early demo reviews) so the stasis ability was added to allow you to use melee attacks on the necromorphs, and also, some necromorphs explode when shot on a specific limb, you can let them get close to one another, and blow up the combustible one. I tried the buzz-saw thingie, and didn't really like using it. what I've found effective recently (in Round 2) is the Force Gun. kinda like the Shotgun in RE. hits multiple targets and throws them away to a distance, enough to get either the hand gun thing (forgot what some of the weapons were called), the Pulse Rifle, or the Line Gun, or give you enough time to skidaddle. Anywhoo, still enjoyed it like hell! ;D BTW, I know I hated playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma coz of the absoluetely rotten Camera AI, but I'm looking forward to NG: Sigma 2. Looks very promising! ninjagaidengame.com/ninjaGaiden/index.html

And yet you played NGS anyway. I think that was a throwback to its original incarnation - IIRC, the camera wasn't that great in the original NG on Xbox. I'm looking forward to NGS2 as well (mostly because I don't have an Xbox360).

I absoluetly abhorred the camera AI (if you can call it that... ) on NGS, but it was a fun game, blood, decapitated head... and yes, Rachel (at least I don't oogle at the Rachel figure like Otaru he he he he), and all. Hopefully Tecmo can fix it on NGS2. The camera AI on Deadspace (although it gave you that clausterphobic feeling) was great, and I wish NGS2's cam will be the same. Anywoo.. back to hunting cheap second hand games, LOL!

Played a bit of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Genesis on my PSP today. They don't make games like it anymore...which might be a good thing.

I just discovered Plants vs. Zombies on Steam! What an incredible time-waster (I played almost 3 hours tonight). It's one of those addictive (and/or repetitive, depending on your personality type) games that falls under the "tower defense" setup. You plant plants on your lawn hoping they'll shoot down the oncoming zombie horde. Simple 2D gaming... get the demo and see for yourself!

speaking of classic games and zombies. i found an old game by sega titled "typing of the dead".
its a game like those old sega gumcon games where you point and shoot a gun to the screen. but this one uses the keyboard to input the words next to the zombies to kill em. the game characters even have keyboards on their necks to shoot the zombies. ;D i find it funny and fun.
here is the game. just copy paste it.

70's Super Robot Anime Geppy-X
The soundtrack of this game is awesome. Each stage and boss battle has it's own theme sung by famous Japanese anime/toku singers (Isao Sasaki, Hironobu Kageyama, Akira Kushida, etc.).

I had to look it up to figure out what it was, but it sounds like a neat game. It had a Japan-only release, yeah?

It's on 4 CDs, probably because of the abundance of animated scenes. The game parodies/homages primarily Getter Robo and Getter Robo G. There are also references to Mazinger Z, MS Gundam, Devilman, Godzilla, Gamera, Uchuu Senkan Yamato, Kamen Rider, and Goranger. The "Ryouma" character is voiced by Akira Kamiya who voiced the original Ryouma Nagare. The "Hayato" character is voiced by Shou Hayami (Maximillian Jenius).

... damn. I can't find it on any of the torrent sites . It sounded interesting. oh well. Oh, er, I'm playing ... <deep breath> Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2: Raizou Kizuhara vs. King Abaddon Good fun. The demon negotiation reminds me a lot of SMT Persona 1 and 2.

Geppy x was fun, but sort of hard. Wish I still had it. Not really any robot action right now, unless you count Phantasy Star Universe for the PS2 (Cast). Might pickup Gundam Musou 2 for PS2, as I lack a next gen console.... Right now I'm playing open beta for the new MMO Neo-Steam: The Shattered Continent. Lot's of grind-able fun in a cool steam-punk themed world! ;D

still playing a lot of Call of Duty 4 and Street Fighter 4 these days on the 360. But I finally got the Dissidia Final Fantasy for my PSP today after looking for the trading arts figure. At the last convention, I bought two trading boxes and got a Cloud Strife and a Zidane. Was looking for Squall Leonhart and found the megaupload links to the game instead. It's a board game? Turn base tactical mixed.

I just got Zone of the Enders 2 (PS2) in the mail yesterday, and I'm really looking forward to it. still playing a lot of Call of Duty 4 and Street Fighter 4 these days on the 360. Hmm, I thought Dissidia is a fighting game with some RPG elements? If you're still interested in the Trading Arts figures, BBTS has preorders for them ( www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search.aspx?search=dissidia), which I think are through Diamond. For some reason the Warrior of Light isn't being imported, though (Side note: I highly recommend these figures, they're fantastic IMO)
