It's more like Crisis Core style fighting, but more of a Tactics board game, kinda like those SRW games. I saw those being offered at bbts, coming over as blister package version, where you don't have to get them at random. I should of just gotten two more random boxes over at the convention, they were only 12$ each. The only other figure I want is the Squall figure, don't care much for Tidus and the Warrior of Light. These figures do look really nice but not without flaws. The sculpt are stunning, even better than the Playing Arts and Static arts, and the Koto Resin Statue series.

A couple of buds and I were talking about horror games a few weeks back when RE:5 was released. The topic finally got into Fatal Frame, and I remember how much I loved the first one. I managed to pick up Fatal Frame II sometime back and completed it over the weekend. What a thrill!
Also picked up DJ Max Fever for the PSP since I've heard nothing but good stuff about it. This is pretty much what I'll be playing over the next two months, since I'll be out of state and can only bring my PSP with me. ;D

You're crazy, I only lasted day one on the first Fatal Frame, I'm too scared to even load it on the PS 2

Yea, the first one really spooked me out! If I didn't know better, I'd thought that the disc was haunted!

I got the Dawn of War platinum pack about a month ago and I play it for at least two hours everyday. Compared to the Warhammer 40K tabletop game this is so much more fun. I was also surprised at how different it plays compared to Warcraft 3. The battle strategy involved is actually much better than Warcraft.

I am anticipating the new release of Blazblue coming to 360 and PS3 on 6/30. It's a new 2D fighting game created by the creators of Guilty Gear. Also, gamestop has a bonus art book if you order this game online. I just need to get another fighting game so that my SFIV joystick would get more action. Contemplating on getting KOF12 also, coming out in july 7.

I ran through Z.O.E. (PS2) again over the weekend, since then I've been wrapped up in Brave Story (PSP).
I'm super excited for Ghostbusters, which comes out in less than two weeks now!

I'm quite hooked on Monster Hunters: Freedom for PSP.
Since I got it I haven't played anything else.
Rather time consuming though.

Just finished Apollo Justice on the DS. I got Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, but... eh... I don't know. I think my super robot addiction made me buy it. Not sure I'll like it and, mostly, I just don't feel like getting into a time-consumming RPG right now, especialy with Blue Dragon, Personna 4 and Final Fantasy X on my backlog. (Yes, X as in "ten". I still haven't finished it after all this time.)
What else...
Stuck at the last boss in Prinny on PSP.
Still playing Grand Theft Auto 4 on Xbox360.
Punch-Out!! and Contra Rebirth are keeping the dust off my Wii.
Not so much use for my PS3 these days since I'm done with Siren and took a break from Street Fighter 4.
Add the occasionnal game of Donkey Kong on MAME and that's pretty much it.

SRTOGSEF isn't really a traditional time-consuming RPG, so I think you'll be okay. The RPG aspects are quite "lite", you can run away from any non-boss fight without penalty, and the combat is fun and belts the gameplay along at a fairly brisk pace. Of course, any given boss fight (and there are toooooooons) can take you close to 15 minutes near the end of the game, so in that way it can be quite time consuming if your lunch break is coming to a close and there's still half a lifebar on a fox-lady you need to beat down I'm still playing SRTOGSEF myself, along with ANOTHER atlus title with a ginormous name, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon. Fun stuff, and quite different from the Persona games I'm more used to.

J, I'll play some SCIV with you sometime. It's been a few months, so I'm probably quite rusty... My PSN is TasogareCyrano supergetterv, thanks for the heads up about BlazBlue. It'd slipped past my radar...but I've been hoping for a PS3 Guilty Gear for a while now. Looks like I'll have my fix in a few weeks!

(I know... something I should have done BEFORE buying the game.) The combo system looks fun. By the way, judging by the reviews and posts I've read, writing a piece about that game without mentionning ze jiggly boobies makes you part of the minority, sir. But as fun as it may be, it'll have to wait. I just got myself a sweet Logitech G25 steering wheel. I got Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Nascar 09 this weekend to try it out. GT5 supports the whole feedback/H-shifter/clutch package. Very nice. I can't wait for Sony to finally get the whole game out. Nascar 09 is fun. While it does support the H-Shifter, I can't get the clutch to work. Looks like it doesn't support it. That's a shame. I'll surely get some more games soon to put it to good use, so I'm open to suggestions. PS3 or PC. Heck, even the PS2, if there's a gem that's worth going back to last gen. I know, there are many masterpieces on the old consoles, but racing is one genre that doesn't really age well. Although I do still give San Fransisco Rush 2049 and the original Top Gear an occasionnal spin.

Just got Prototype for PS3, very cool though reminds me almost exactly of the old Hulk game but a bit more violent and purddier graphics. Still a hoot to play but only an hour or so into the game.

Hooked up my Dreamcast a few weeks ago and been playing some good stuff again like Tech Romancer (this game was begging for toys, Bandai should have made SOCs!), Virtual On: OT, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Good stuff, it's always a good sign when you miss playing games on obsolete consoles, it means they did something right. Picked up the the first Super Robot Taisen Original Generation for GBA at K-Mart for $5 and change a couple weeks ago, plan on giving that a shot soon. Same goes for Atelier Iris 2 (for PS2) and Guardian Heroes Advance (also for GBA) which I've been sitting on for months now. Aside from those, I've been playing Final Fantasy XI at least once a week since 2003 so there's that. Going to an anime convention for the next four days, hopefully I can get some good games while I'm down there (us country folks don't make it to the big city that often. ) Emerje
