Just won these four pieces of Popy Kyodain at considerably Mint condition : I am not really familiar with them nor with their anime. Saw the jet on the bottom left in collectiondx and thought it was very old-school cool as well as look very heavy. What do you guys think of these toys? ...Ed?

nice haul.... my memories are fuzzy about the show, but i do remember them like putting there fist together and saying something like ... we are the two brothers.. go! then they transform to those 2 vehicles, i might be wrong though.

Granzel & Skyzel. Very nice vintage Popy's . I really like them. Superb details, cool box artwork..lovely. Today i stand up at 5 o'clock in the morning because an eBay auction with Granzel & Skyzel-stuff ended. I bought a boxed Skyzel (Popy PA-71). There is a 3rd robot from this TV-Show called (Popy GA-49) Gonbesu. This bot really looks like a"space-egg".

Yep, Sky zero and Ground Zero. These guys are super solid diecast and awesome. They are TOTALLY under the radar of people......it is probably because the figures have faces under the masks.
The SKy Jet and Gran Car figures were also released as part of the Shogun Warriors line. The have missiles and then fire off the heads...cool shizzle.
Good scores.

Is it just me, or is Granzel a lot more common than Skyzel?

I bought these back in the day at Japantown in San Francisco. We were so jacked to see the show, and when we eventually got a couple of episodes, we were so disappointed, because it was so... comedic. But, it has grown on me over the years. The designs and the toys are eternally, cool. SPACE IRONMEN: KYODYNE Wikipedia entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uchuu_Tetsujin_KyodainOriginal Opening Credits

Thanks for the info guys.
LOL , I can't stop laughing at how silly the show look in youtube. ;D ;D.
Considering how cool these toys are that prompt me to buy them, the show seems from different planet all together
