Yes Erik, you are correct. The price should be dictated by the market. But if you are in my shoes you know that listing the robot for $.99 would be extremely stupid without any reserve. If you read what I wrote than you know I am not really selling these for the money. $1400 is a good amount of money but to me the robot is more valuable than that. When I say I would like to rebuild my collection at a later date that is because right now I do not have the space to appreciate them and hope to own a house sometime in the near future. Also if the internet is the modern day "Wild West" that doesn't mean everyone has to do as the Romans do.

I totally agree with you about not doing as the Romans do. I'm sorry to be such a curmudgeon but between the price gouging and phony biders/sellers on ebay I'm on the defense 100% of the time. $0.99 with a reserve would be a better way of measuring what the market will bear and get you more interest as opposed to listing it at $1600. Honestly man, and I can say this intelligently as I do speak to most of the heavy hitters on a regular basis, the high listing price and BIN thing is a total turn off. The pool of parties interested is pretty small. I should just shut the f**k up as I already have two T28s..

I don't have a BIN listing. I do take all advice that people can give. I noticed that there is no option for using a reserve price on ebay. Maybe I just don't know where to look. I also feel that having a reserve of say $1600, which is the least I would be willing to take, can be a turnoff for bidders when they keep bidding but don't make the reserve. I just figure put it right out there for everyone to see. I have done some research on what the going price is for my robots and I feel as though I have priced them accordingly. As a collector, out of curiosity, why do you have two T28s? I am not saying that it's odd I am just honestly curious. I am not an actual "collector" I just happened to love these robots growing up and wanted one of each. I think that when I start my collection over I would try to have one of each in the best possible condition. Do you have two because you found a second one that was in better condition and plan on selling the other or you just like to have as many as possible. I just like to find out the mindset of some hardcore collectors.

No. It's the only thing non tetsujin related. It's tokima made by popy. Not valuable. Valuable to me as it was the one I had in my childhood.
