This guy had some things I wanted, but because of his low feedback, I passed, the winning bidders got great deals ($40 Bazoler and $40 Diaclone Twincombat). Glad to know he's actually reliable.
EDIT: However - looking back at completed auctions for this guy, all three current listings had already sold in the past. Mysterious that they are being relisted.

hi! Got this message from the seller regarding the inquiries here. I think he is the best person to answer all the questions. He just registered here at RJ, and now that he is a member I should leave the post to him to anwer all the queries. Here is the response that I got: Hey I just checked out the two responses to your post and I wish I could post but it says that my registration is awaiting approval. I also wish that that those two people would read the description for my relists because I sold all three of those robots to one bidder and he never paid me for them so I have relisted them. I explained all of that in the description. They probably didn't take the time to read it. If it's easy enough for you to post what I just explained that would be cool, since I am unable to while waiting for approval. Thanks again MarkMerry Christmas to all of you!!! Hope our collections will grow in 2009! Mark

Right, I just noticed now he made revisions to the listing's description last Dec. 21, 2008. Hmmmm....I think the seller should clarify on this.
He is just awaiting membership approval according to him. I have no idea how that works though.

$1600 items with feedback of 3, plus the original items being re-listed is what sounds wrong to me.
Still smells fishy...

even with membershhip approval here, it will take sometime before they get comfy buying high priced items from him. unless someone who is we know and reliable here vouch for him. because before, their was a seller on ebay, from brooklyn also, sold a lot of high priced toys(mostly godaikins also) before but never sent them. scammed people of there money.
now if i have money, i would buy his tetsujin but id rather pick it up or meet him(in a neutral ground) since he is in NYC also.

Is that so? I guess I'm just basing things from my own experience buying from him. Although I got a partial refund because of a missing part, and he gladly paid back on time and without any hassle. But of course, everything is a gamble, things may not happen the same way all the time and with everyone.

Hi everyone. I have been reading all of your posts about my listings on ebay and have just now been able to login to my account here on this forum. I appreciate my new friend Mark making this post for me and I would now like to personally respond to the posts. I can understand if someone is hesitant to buy an item from me considering that I don't have much history on ebay. But you gotta start somewhere right? It is no skin off my back if I don't sell my robots. I am not hard up for money and I don't really want to sell them but since my parents just had to sell there house of 32 years I had to take my belongings that had been stored in there attic for quite some time. My apartment in Brooklyn doesn't lend itself to storing these large robots so I thought I would take the oppurtunity to sell them on ebay and use the money to adopt an underprivalaged family for christmas which my wife and I did. Please do not pass judgement on me saying that it is b*****t I am not looking for handouts I had made an honest mistake with one of my buyers and AFTERu] everything was settled I thought I would let him know that his money had gone to a good cause. It bothers me that some of you are so quick to judge. So please bid with confidence and I will try to answer every question that you may have. Also I plan on someday buying all of these robots back and starting a new collection. But I have to say that some these enthusiests have really made me think twice about being a part of this collectors group. Sincerely, Sean

I just got to know him through one of my first few sales on ebay. Like I said I can understand people being a little cautiuos, I would be too but maybe if I was very interested I would try to ask some questions and feel the seller out. Like the one guy who bought my Tetsujin, Combattra and Gardian wanted to make sure I was for real and asked me to send him a photo of tetsujin and me holding a sign with my sellers name in front of the box. Well that didn't turn out so well since he never paid me. Actually it did because I thought he got Tetsujin for steal at $1400 and I was sad to see him go for so little. That's why I upped the price. Honestly though it's because of people like me that me that collectors are able to obtain high quality items like these with most of their original parts. As a kid I took care of my toys and my dad saved the boxes because he told me that someday they would worth alot of money, which they are now. So I would think that collectors would have a little more respect for original owners. I don't mean to sound all grumpy but some of this is a little disheartening.

when posting a picture of your item on ebay.... write your username or ebay ID on a piece of paper, put it beside the toy and take a picture, thats what you upload when you post your item to sell on ebay. like when they sell PS3, ebay requires them to post pictures with there username or ebay ID with it to make sure that they do have the PS3 or high end electronic item in hand. hope this helps.

OK, Sean. Sorry, but if you haven't noticed the internet is pretty much the modern day equivalent of wild west. Over the last 10 years many members here, including myself, have been suckered into deals with guys that appear out of nowhere with some over the top item. Now if that rubs you the wrong way, well that's unfortunate, but would you trust your hard earned $1500+ to some guy that has NO ebay feedback and claims to be giving the money to the homeless? I doubt it. Now I would like to believe that there are people out there that have the best intentions who are willing to giving a grand + to some family in need, well, that would be awesome.
But, then you add into the mix that you eventually want to buy the toys back at some point which makes me wonder why you wouldn't just keep then. If space is your only issue, I would assume most practical people would find space for a few items worth upwards of $2K. Then you try to cast some doubt on our caution as some type of hostility that makes you think twice about collecting. Well, Sean, honestly all that makes me even more suspect.
If your intentions are good, well best of luck to you. If not, then you suck. But a quick FYI, selling a T28 for $1600 is not like your doing anybody any favors. Many of the T28s you see go on ebay are shill bid to death and the real value should really be dictated by what the market will bear. That being the case, if I were you I would list it at $0.99 and let it ride because I can pretty much guarantee you that nobody's going to buy it at $1600. If you were half as generous as you claim to be one would think starting the item low and seeing where it goes would be in the vain of your stated philosophy. In this economy, hardcore collectors like myself take one look at the listings of Popy or Tetsujin on Ebay, see all the people GAUGING with "buy it now" prices, and pass right on by... Something to think about.
