p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000114847/This Zwayth will be mine. Sirbine and Zwauth has been the ultimate holy grail for Dunbine fans that was only possible in garage kits for decades. While we were very lucky to get Sirbine in this line a few months back, I didn't think it' was possible with a Zwauth follow up. It looks really good too, and huge! Not to mention they purposely made an adaptive display stand that can house both figures together as a single display. Now this is something worth paying exclusive price for!  Got my hands on the Zwauth. What a glorious piece. With the display stand together with Sirbine, this set is pretty much my favorite Robot Spirits by far. So much history, so many years of waiting, so glorious in the end... Joints are very tight, though its a given the figure can't support its huge backpack & wings unless using some stands. Nothing floppy, with the tail base and backpack (aura converters) base connection each supported by a hard ratchet with loud clicks. Sword hand wrist movement is a bit hindered by the lower arm design, also the long shield can get in the way with the left wing at times. But man, what a piece. The 55cm wing span is no joke. For Aura Battler toys, this and Sirbine is as good as they can get, for a very long time. |

No Damashii Jaegers for me. Invested all the $$ on the SOC and the X-Plus Leatherback instead.

Amazon hasn't shipped my Gipsy Avenger yet. I want a desk toy for posing around and the price was hard to pass up.

I got some of the pacific rim figures recently. I guess they're ok. The articulation is great (the torso is limited though), sculpt is pretty fantastic, and they come with decent accessories (could come with more though). My main problem with them is the paint. It's not that is bad, what little paint there is is nice and clean, but that's for what there is. My problem is with what's not there. A lot of detail gets los since it's got no paint whatsoever, and they look just too clean. I would have certainly liked to see some weathering. They look like plastic toys, not like giant combat robots as they should. Diamond select could really show them how it's done

The only Robot Spirits I didn't sell was the Patlabor Ingram 1. I have Gipsy Avenger ordered, and def adding that Strelitzia.

I wonder if they are going to make more of uprising. There are still many cool jaegers from that movie, like the Jaeger/kaiju hybrids, or even the less prominent November Ajax, who looked amazing

LOVED IT, and on a big Pacific Rim kick. I picked up all the Robot Spirits Jaegers and ordered the Sofvi Spirits Raijin. I also hope they release all the Jaegers from the first movie in this line. I only ever got the Gipsy Danger and Knifehead 2 pack from NECA. Never got any of the others because I didn't care for the weathering or build quality. These Robot Spirits ones are exactly what I want out of smaller, non-SOC Jaegers. Quality builds, nice finishes, great accessories, all at reasonable prices. Bring on the first movie Kaiju in the Sofvi Spirits line too! |
