Glad to share. One of my main missions of RJ was to share the hobby. Youtube is a GREAT medium & the HD video really does our hobby justice.

As I mentioned last time we were together, I have this poster and another rarer (?) version with a calendar at the bottom. I'll try to post pics in the next few days. The Godaikin poster has been more common as of late - someone must have come across a batch. I was watching the one Duban won. But right after that, a couple more showed up, and I managed to score one pretty cheap (same for the calendar one).

Here's my calendar poster. Its interesting - I pulled out my non-calendar one that Ed posted about, and it seems that its the exact same poster as the calendar one, only with the bottom portion cut off. In other words, the width is the same and scale, but its just shorter. Unfortunately, this poster got damaged in the mail (you can see the creases in the photo), as did my other one - both arriving within 2 weeks of each other, and both crushed! F'in post office.

Love it. Thanks for posting kB Did Bandai do anything like this in '83 and '84?

I don't know, but I'm wondering if the non-calendar one was "issued" in the second half of 1985. Once the calendar became outdated, maybe they just cut off that portion and kept releasing the poster.
If the non-calendar one is more common (which I can't confirm, but I suspect based on past auctions), maybe they didn't get this from the design phase to the production phase in time, so once it was finalized, the calendar was almost obsolete. Rather than waste all the produced posters, they simply cut them down.
Just a wild guess.
