So I want to remove the nub marks on my MG Wing Zero before I clear coat it so I chose to use order some Gundam Markers... but I was just wondering if anyone knows if the *Basic Color* Marker set matches wing zero customs colors? The blue on zero looks much darker then the marker.....

I havent used one on wing but i do believe it is ligher. you can always test it on a piece of the sprue of the same color to see how it turns out. Trying to get an exact mach can be a pain. of course, you can always repaint the entire piece to make it mach but that is not a good idea when concerning the quality of the gundam markers and would take quite a few coats. If your good at sanding you can actually sand the nubs off and buff it to make it look like there never was a nub there in the first place. You would need at least three different grades of sand paper to achieve this though.

Yeah I don't know if I'd be able to do it on the first try... this is my first model in years and I'm pretty much a noob... I messed up a lot trying to clean the nub marks with my exacto knife, a lot of the ones on the grey/gun parts and blue parts have white cracking but I've put a lot of time and effort into this kit so I'd like to find a way to make it look good without spending much more money and what not... damn I still have to wait for the markers to come in the mail.... I guess I'll find out then if I have the right color.... maaaaaaaan this sucks

well paint markers aren't terribly expensive and you dont have to stick with gundam markers. there are better ones out there but still not the best way to paint a model but it does work especially for small areas. I dont think it will match perfectly but remember to let it dry over night to get the final color dont just paint it on and be like, "man it doesnt match." Paint drys darker.

Yeah it's all I guess I just took a chance because since they were *gundam* markers I thought they would be the exact colors... oh well the red should be fine, the white doesn't need to be touched up, and I'm hoping the gray paint marker will work out too
If worse comes to worse I'll just go out and try and find patching paint for the blue
I don't plan to paint anything with the gundam markers, just touch up nub marks... other then that I'm applying a flat finish and panel lines..
