That's...pretty awesome ;D
I don't know much about Godzilla/Gojira, what's the story on the one on the far right, with the little metal patch on his arm?

Great MechaG collection! My personal favorite is the small but pretty heavy Bullmark MechaG.

Awesome collection!! Those chrome ones really look nice - how does the chrome hold up over time? Do you use gloves to handle them?
Who made that yellow one?
Also, I thought you had managed to get hold of the Popy one?

That is, as RX stated, Mechagodzilla in disguise. The kaiju is only seen like this for a short spell at the beginning of the film. Godzilla and he scrap for a bit, revealing the bare metal beneath. The Aliens decide that the charade is off and remove the rest of the disguise with some local disintegration beam that reveals our mechanical subject. The figure was released as part of the Bandai Godzilla 50th Anniversary Memorial Box set, in January 2005.

Great MechaG collection! My personal favorite is the small but pretty heavy Bullmark MechaG. Mine too! Funny how such a small figure, compared to the others, can hold that place in our hearts. It's pretty much a nostalgia thing for me. I used to drool over the thing at the local toy store back in the day.

No gloves, but I do make sure my hands are clean prior to handling any of my toys. I know that some will frown at that, but these are toys after all. Besides, you can use wax to remove blemishes if they occur. I tried and it works great. Who made that yellow one? That is a Marmit Para-Baby GID version. The thing lights up like a candle, but the glow does not last very long. I love the sculpt on that one. Also, I thought you had managed to get hold of the Popy one? Nope, not yet. Coincidentally, it's at the top of my list right now.

AWESOME group shot there. I love Mechagodzilla, particularly the original but with some love for Kiryu as well.
Only one I don't recognize for certain is the big clear/red one. Giant Marmit?

I think its a Super7 release - not sure if its a collaberation. I think he posted about this awhile ago. Maybe you can find the old thread. (sorry - too lazy to look myself)

Thanks Myles! Yes, that is a Super7 Exclusive Giant Marmit. I still want to fill him with glow gravel.

That is a great collection, thanks for sharing the pix. I have loved MechaG for as long as I can remember. Is that big Kiryu the Bandai 12" version? I am going to TRU to pick one of those tomorrow. I have a coupon!

I picked up the Bandai Kiryu and it really is nice. It is big, slightly bigger than the DX Kiryu. Great toy for under $20.

Great comparison shot, D.
I have put off getting the DX for long enough, I think.

Awesome collection..I dig the Bullmark diecast & Toygraph half transformation figure. My holy grail is the Bullmark chest & finger missle firing Mecha-Godzilla.

Thanks for the kind words you guys! I'll have to pull the horde back out for another pic. I just added the 50% MechaG in black. ... and then I picked this little gem up on evilBay. M1 MechaG. Not in my hands yet, but soon.
