Very nice! Congrats. I didn't realize that the legs were a different metal than the body.
How about a comparison shot with the Bullpet? Are they both based on the same exact MechaG? I thought that this similar MG model was used for several movies, maybe with slight variations. Am I wrong?

Very nice addition. I think that's the first really clear pics I've seen of him.
So which do you prefer, GA-93 or the Bullpet?

Thanks guys! The figure is of MechaGodzilla II, from the second film "Terror of Mechagodzilla", or "Mekagojira no gyakushu". The box depicts a photo of the first version MechaG. Kinda strange, but very cool. I'll post up some photos of the two together later. The designs are very similar in size and engineering and I'm not sure which I prefer. They are both great figures. Perhaps I'll be able to form an opinion while doing the side-by-side.

Great MechaG collection. As for Popy vs. Bullmark, I'm not sure which is better either - just that I like both of them

Awesome comparison pix!! Thanks. They both have elements that I like over the other, but overall, I think I prefer the look of the Bullpet. That's not to say that I don't really want to get the Popy version. Also, I'm not sure which is more accurate to the movie version. Maybe I'm just more used to the Bullmark because I own it. I don't know. I don't think you can go wrong with either, and I'm happy as hell for you that you finally scored this. As I seem to say with most toys, one day...

Great MechaG collection. As for Popy vs. Bullmark, I'm not sure which is better either - just that I like both of them Thanks Bill! Thanks Myles, but my camera skills lack much. I get lucky sometimes. Also, I'm not sure which is more accurate to the movie version. Technically, they both are, as they are of two differing characters. The Bullmark is the first version Mechagodzilla, while the Popy is modeled after MGII. ... and I'm happy as hell for you that you finally scored this. Thank you! It has been a long journey. This is one of my Holy Grails realized. The list gets shorter, but the money required for each step of the way gets more and more!

Very interesting comparison pics, thanks for taking the time, Sketcher. It's difficult to choose between them; I prefer the head/torso/tail of the Bullpet but then I really the little bend in the legs of the Popy version. I think my ultimate vintage MechaG involves some kind of sacrilegious limb-swap

Nice, Dylan! I love that flying one - had my eye on it for a long time. Great way (and only way?) to display it! But I'm most jealous of what I see in the background in the next cabinet (sounds like "Fullclark Taragon").

Thanks guys! Another update when it arrives, but I found one of those BEAMS M1 MFV-style painted MGs. It should be here within the week. Then I'll pull everything out and recreate that shot with them all. I really need to track down the MFV style egg-toy from M1. If you see that, shoot me a link.
And that Baragon will find you man, when you least expect it. Good hunting!

Picked it up today and had to take a pic of the twins together. Still holding off on the overall group shot, as there are now 2 more MechaGs enroute.
