Side note. I haven't looked at my Igarashi Chogokin guide recently but I can't seem to recall if Poseidon came with one of the black plastic chogokin display stands? Anyone?

You KNOW..... Great question Erik.
I have seen TWO without a stand. I bought my poseidon ages ago and it didnt' come with a stand. Then a second one by a well placed collector didn't come with one either.
I was wondering the same thing.
The guide shows it, but it wouldn't suprise me if they show the same stand that came from another toy.
The legs might not fit well.

It's in the Nishimura chogokin treasure appraisal guide with a stand so the original must come with one. The reason I say this is one, I personally know that Yuji is INCREDIBLY thorough, and two, because all figures he pictured on stands do not have stands present in the accompanying photo of the accessories. That's proof enough for me.
Also, I recall seeing one in an auction over the last year or so and thinking that was odd. I must have just spaced it as I was no doubt obsessing on some other futile piece of zinc..

Also, you make a good point Ed. The feet could have issues with a stand.
