Hi Everyone! Would like to share my recent purchase, the Daimos DX GA-85 European version from Popy. This is very much the same as the Japanese and American Daimos DX, except of course for the box and catalogue. The toy is complete. With minor signs of playwear, the chrome parts are absolutely shiny! The shoulder part is flawless. I chanced upon this being recently posted. I have no intentions of buying it, but when I saw that it is only $300 shipping included, I wasted not a single minute to purchase it. It was surely a good buy. Only the styro tray and the styro covers are in used condition in this toy, but the rest are in excellent shape. Hope you like it. Here are the pics: Mark

Congrats on your find. I would trade two SOC version for that version in a heartbeat. The SOC version can be bought at anytime, will never be hard to find and the way bandai reissue them, can be bought at MSRP 5 years to 10 years down the line. That French Popy version is rarely seen on ebay especially one in great condition.

There were rumors before that these were shipped from japan and placed in new european boxes, much like what they did with the godaikins. But I heard that some of the Daimos DX that were not sold in the 80's were sent to Europe and repacked. But looking closely at the box, there is a small print that says MADE IN UK. This toy is really special I guess. OJA: I don't have a scanner right now, but I will visit one of the computer shops here and will try to give you a scanned copy
