Wow! You've got quite a colleciton Venson! I don't think I've ever seen both a Popy and a Grip Godphoenix side by side. That just makes me...sick!

Hi I have a Gatcha Spartan Fighter, as shown on this thread. However mine has Bandai in the top right hand corner and is in English. I am from the UK and purchased it in the early 80's. Does anyone know anything about it. Thanks

I don't understand if you want to sell or to buy it. However fair value for this version is US$ 800,00 in mint condition

I know this is for vintage stuff, but figured I'd post here anyway I gotta start reading more of the modern sections. I'm not much for modern, other than a few pieces, but these have me pretty stoked if that price would be for the set (and there is some diecast involved - as indicated on another site). Still expensive, but hell I'd pay it - especially if there's any gimmiks involved! Cant wait for the info to trickle out!

I actually just got this GA-92 Paima (or Pimer) today. I got if from a guy who bought it from another guy. The guy before me mostly sells anything that makes him a profit and isn't really a gokin collector. He was just shooting the breeze with the previous owner of this toy (the guy before him) and then nonchalantly asked if he'd be interested in selling this toy. "Sure! How about NT$ 2,000 (about US$60) ?"Anyway, the toy and its box were in excellent condition before the guy before me bought it. Like I said, he didn't really care about this toy. He didn't take precautions while handling it (i.e., without gloves), so there's some fingerprint smudge marks and flaking on the chromed areas. The box is also dented on one edge. Otherwise, this toy would've gotten to me in perfect condition. [

Nice That is one toy that I've almost bought about 20 times....but keep putting it off. So what do you think of it? I think most people put off buying this Popy GA-92 Paima because it's based on a minor character in Gatchaman II. I watched the Gatchaman series when I was a kid and I can't even recall ever seeing this character. Yet, the GB-92 is a beautiful toy with a classical design that reminds me of Robby the Robot from the Forbidden Planet with the head's exposed internal machinery. This part can rock back and forth inside the GB-92. Most of the diecast pieces on the GA-92 are on the upper and lower body. The head is rather lightweight since it's made entirely of chrome plated plastic. I googled this toy recently and found that on loose GA-92 the chrome on the head is either tarnished or worn off. It's the same situation with the arms, which are each actually molded as a single piece with movable joints only on the shoulders. From Hong Kong Yahoo! AuctionsPic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3Pic 3 show's the GA-92 wheels which have rear wheel friction motion mechanism. Anyway, it would've been nice if Popy had used a pull-back-and-release design that activated movements of the internal head mechanism. Well, it might be too much to ask for in a toy from 1978.

Hi everyone :) this is my very first message on this forum. If there is a thread to introduce myself, please guide me I couldn't find it. The reason for posting here is that I've been asking myself for some time now if my 3 loose Gatchaspartan you can see below, respectively PB-90, PB-91 and PB-93, are worth something? I own some other Gatchaman toys but these 3 ones remains a mystery.. Thanks for any help ;

Welcome! There actually is an introduction thread, but for some reason, I can't find it now. As per these toys, they're from the Gatchaspartan toy from Gatchaman F. A MIB one recently sold on ebay (280528287518) for $1,275, but for some reason, the auction is no longer available for viewing. Maybe it turned out to be fraudulent. Regardless, you get the idea of the value of a complete, MIB toy. As per these loose ones, its kind of up in the air. Since individual pieces are kind of hard to find, someone looking to buy these in the hopes of completing this toy one day would have to wait a looooooong time until they ever find the other pieces. So they might not be that desirable used and incomplete, IMO. But you never know.

Nice job! Those minis came with the Korean toy? If so, I gotta keep an eye out for it. My Godphenix is lacking any accessories.
