Looks great! More Haruhi too. Figmas are pretty addictive. I tend to stick to the badass chicks and Makina Hoshimura looks... badass.  |

Man, I think this is at least the third Figma Haruhi. On top of the two Fraulien versions...yikes. As much as I like the original figure, I don't think the summer uniform justifies another purchase (personally). It seems like the accessories (cameraphone, tea mug, ponytail hair, triangular black thing) are all in response to the four Fraulein busts from various magazines late last year and early this year.
I like the gunburst effects for the Uzzis on Hosimura.

Original, the PS2 exclusive version, the upcoming baseball playing Haruhi and now this summer variant. I don't mind to be honest, Haruhi is a license to print money in Japan for a little while yet and companies should milk it in order to be able to come up with slightly less popular figures in the future - especially in the current financial climate. The anime is okay too. If anyone fancies checking out Shikabane Hime, funimation have legally put videos of the series on YouTube. Worth a look. Heck, even the theme tune is good! |

Good catch, I'd forgotten about the RPG warrior Haruhi with the PS2 game. I didn't mean to come off as overly negative, I actually enjoyed the show quite a bit, and I've already got the "normal" Figma versions of the five SOS-dan. I suppose I'm just personally a bit merchandised out. And yeah, there are certainly huge financial benefits to Max Factory making as much Haruhi merch as they can fit on the shelves -- your printing money analogy really isn't much of an exaggeration. Maybe Haruhi can lend the Max Gokin line a hand...all she has to do it want it, right? C'mon Big O! |

well i am really liking the uzi girl with pig tails mm hmm man i really want to get my hands on the new fate figure that is coming with the japanese ps2 game, but i dont care about the game, play asia has it for 150 i believe and i think otakufuel has it for 105 thats wayyy too much
