This was the 'bad' enlargement of this shot.. The 'good' one is one display in class till spring. and this was just a black and white cutout with canton paper..

wow those are awesome.
particularly the second one. I'mnot sure if you glued your figure down to paper already. But I can imagine if you took that figure out a couple of erasers underneath the figure to lift off the page (or something else to raise higher.. The cast shadow would giveit a wonderful depth when you take a picture. Anyways Awesome stuff!

Thanks kid. Long time no see. I miss coming here, heck I miss buying chogokin..but money has been tight for a few years now and school keeps me busy.
I wish I had the photo I turned in for class, a lot better contrast and deep blacks. That print came out well. The second one was just a formal balance project. We had to use two objects, I used Great Mazinger and cheater plugs. They were cut out of canton paper and glued to a white back ground. I was not overly happy with the project, simply because it was so simple. my issue was that Great Mazinger in and of itself had great balance, so there really was nothing to the project but sticking him in the middle and then using the cheater plug cutouts as a way to show "powering up" or angelic like wings...
Anyway, thank you for the imput. I am gonna work on some more stuff to hopefully post here in the future. I just cant wait till I get into my computer classes to learn photoshop and a couple other programs better.
