Those video's are really quite invaluable to Gunpla modelers! Thanks for posting, Vic! I wonder if there are DVD's of these floating around somewhere! Anyways, looking forward to seeing more of the SWROG onslaught! EDIT: OK, so maybe I shouldn't have asked if there were DVD's available. That would be a yes. Sorry for the temp thread Hi-jack. www.cdjapan.co.jp/search.html?type=GC&restrict=ALL&strict=&word=plamoAnyways. Keep up the awesome work, sir! And I'm totally down to try some mobility mods on a one or two of my HG Gunpla! EDIT 2: OK, I think most of those are for general plamo (vehicles and AMV) but still....

SRWOG rocks! Those vids really helped me a lot. Been watching those several times already. Thanks for some infos recca! Hehe, since im saving for some, i'm contented w/ the youtube videos. For the Dygenguar WIP, i'm on the weapons now, here's my Zankantou sword... I cut the sword, almost at the tip, and put two metal sticks or plates to support the sword. Will then apply some pla-plates and putty. I can make it long w/ another 5"-6"! The original sword of the 1/144 kit Dygenguar is small and doesn't look right. So I'll make it more likable. It's been a while, tomorrow, I'll post my finished R-1 and R-2 followed by Alteisen and Weissritter. Busy busy w/ work as usual. Will make a new thread for the finished models if no one mind. vic01

What color red did you use on the kit. I have the blue one too, and I am thinking of spray painting it before assembling it.

@supergetterv: I used Tamiya Flat Red using AB. You might try using the Tamiya spray can if you don't have AB. droutmaster: Thanks! Yeah, the sword will be more heavier by adding some materials on it. Even when not modified, the sword itself is heavy that one-hand cannot support it. Needs two hands to lift it or posing it on its shoulder. I say, it's gonna be impossible to hold it by one hand. Check out my finished SRWOG thread! Done w/ R-1 and R-2 Powered! vic01

More OG kits, well, backlogs... ART-1 Baby! I'm itchy to build this after finishing my Alteisen and Weiss. R-Gun Powered. it's a non-scale but almost same height as the 1/144 R-1. He should be smaller than that. Altalion Fairlion Type-S. I was supposed to buy two but will just wait for the Type-G, might have new weapons. Valsione. She's weird but i like her. Huckebein Mk-III _ Boxer. I am just missing Huckebein the Vanishing Trooper (Mk1) Person-Lichkeit Can't wait for the 1/144 Cybuster! vic01

Got the Boxer from ebay for $110 including shipping. You might try Pla-japan where mecha masterj bought his, much cheaper. Really hard to find now.

Ok, for the real fight, I already started again the huge model of Dygenguar. I did lots of sanding, actually, not yet done on sanding. Then I fixed the circuit for the voice of Zengar. Then added some putty around the mid torso and chest for better proportions. After sanding the puttied parts, will finish the Zankantou swords, then painting time. vic01

Nice, been a while you haven't posted progress on this figure which we are waiting to see it complete lol. You're sanding down the figure while is totally build or you take it a part and then sand it down piece by piece?
my god.. that blade is gonna be freaking huge!

Thanks droutmaster!
For the sanding process, yes, we have to take that part out by disassembling, from the joint, etc. Then you sand it. That particular part (i.e. thighs) was assembled already (glued or cemented to cover the seams), then that whole thigh or leg should be disconnected from the hip joint for easy sanding or painting.

i see, for the looks of it in the leg areas seem it needs a bit more of work( it looks like it has some kind of bumps or something). btw, why on the metal part of the blade extension has those (dang forgot what they are called) clay things?

I put some putty and waiting for it to get hard. Then I will sand a bit and cover it w/ pla-plates. Yes, it will save me some pla-plates and lessen the weight if there are hollow parts. I just used the remaining kneeded putty so that it won't get wasted too. Expensive milliput. vic01
