I want to pick one of these up at some point, but would like some info if possible first. For those that know or own one, what fists come with it. This appears to be a complete one with 4 matching fists: But I have also seen this one(and note the difference at the base), that comes with red fists - they look like additional throw-ins on this one but this is not the first time I've seen red fists on one of these: Were there more than one revision to this toy? Repro's? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Bill

I'm pretty sure that the red fists are legitimate. I believe I have also seen them in solid blue (i.e., no chrome). I don't know about versions/release dates, though.
BTW, if anyone has a spare set of fists for these (any color is fine), please PM me. I have a fistless one, and this is one toy where the fists make the toy twice as good!!

Mine came with the red and the chrome. I wish it was as nice as these examples you have posted. Get the toy. You won't be disappointed at all. Of course, you will also need to get the Ganira to be complete with the Tekkaman enemies figures by Nakajima. Here is an old TBDX rumble about some of the differences. Look at the bottom of the page for the Pegas/Ganira stuff.

-Funny to see this thread.
I'm posting a Pegas video right now.... great toy. This will be part 2 with just the boxes from Takemi, Nakajima, and Grip.
I will be opening the box this evening, but recall seeing a red set and a colored set. The picture with two chromed out sets is, I think, an exception.

Yes, I was going to mention that too. I don't think I've ever seen this with two sets of identical chromed fists.

Awesome info, everyone!
I'm wondering now if the first photo is actually missing the set of red fists, and that it's supposed to come with 3 sets, as the second pic looks more complete with head protector and booklet. Hmm...
Saw the vid of the boxes Ed. Cant wait for the toys. Oh, and you definitely have to watch in HD to see that beatiful Takemi art!

Awesome vids, Ed. Why didn't you break out the Nakajima Pegas? Is your box sealed?
That Eida Grip standing one is awesome. Even though that thing is tiny, it still comes with Tekkaman! Awesome. Hopefully one day I can pick one up for a reasonable price. I recently picked up the one in tank form - I've wanted it for a long time. Mine has the rear missiles, so I can post a pic if interested. I'm really starting to develop an appreciation for these tiny, but solid, Grip toys.
Regarding the toys vs. the show, is the scale roughly right between Tekkaman and Pegas? If so, then its not a very large robot.

I'm really starting to develop an appreciation for these tiny, but solid, Grip toys. Grip, for the win! Be careful, there are tons. I search frequently for those little gems. Ed, Some more great videos! Keep em coming. I created a few this weekend, but nothing I am prepared to show yet. I think a bunch of trial and error is required.

thx guys. @ Kingboy, yes, set up a picture of the missiles. I'd love to know what they look like...maybe I have something I can substitute. @ sketcher....it should be interesting to see your work I look forward to it. The Nakajima Pegas is Part 3 and coming. Video just takes so blasted long to process with an old Pentium 4.

Great vids Ed. That Nakajima is perfect. At least now I know it should be 4 fists total with one set of red (unless of course there are different releases, but at least I got something to go by ). Thanks

yip...the Nakajima is perfect. But the Takemi kicks ass. Great toy, but it must be hard to find one? Has someone a clue how much such a Takemi could be (pricerange)?

I saw a complete boxed one go for about 250k yen about a month ago. There is one that has been listed for several weeks now for 380k but is not complete (missing a fist and a few packaging items but didn't look too closely). For MIB examples your probably looking currently at about $3.5k+, although I've heard in the past they have fetched upto $6-7k. Price, always, will boil down to who's looking and how bad they want it.
