just got mine yesrday!! awesome figure and has plenty of differences from the king gainer! Its amazing to see how much revlos joint systems has changed since then! Ill post pics of both at some point or other if i remember lol

I just received my shipping confirmation for both Xan and Enkidudu (both purchased from PlayAsia). I splurged on shipping so they will be here tomorrow (April 10th)... They weren't cheap, but I haven't been this excited over a pair of figures in months. My only complaint, and this is a really minor one, it's Good Friday and I work all day, then we have dinner and church services until late. Saturday is pretty busy as well, then Easter Sunday is church all morning and a family gathering all afternoon... So, I won't be opening these until really late Friday night or Saturday morning, and I won't have time to really pose and photograph them until Saturday or Sunday night... Not that I don't still have a ton of other images that I haven't had the time to post yet anyway (seriously, I have at least 5-6 original Assemble Borg characters that I've created, images of Asahina from MoHS, white haired Rei images, and tons of others)...but what's a few hours after waiting for months already...  Anyway...YAY!!! |

Yeah i got mine last week from tokyohunter, great service but pricey so i paid $100 for xan but got him in two days!! i will post pictures when i get time.
Id love to see those pics phoenix!!

I'd love to post more pics and faster, the big hurdle for me at the moment is that I'm using PhotoBucket. It's a nice service, but it's slow as can be and it won't allow images to exceed a certain pixel depth...which albeit isn't horrible since most people are viewing these on their monitors and most monitors can only display a fraction of the pixel depth that I shoot in (12.1MP), but I'd rather have more control over the image scaling that PB does...
Anyway, the sad thing is that I have a ton of server space and bandwidth provided by one of my clients, I just need to nail down an all encompasing domain name to host images and other things that I have been planning...
Too many projects, too many hobbies, never enough time...*sigh*...soon though...

xan is awesome and really it different enough to warrant a purchase even if you have king Gainer!! soon i will post pics but have to take some first.
I know what you mean pheonix PB is so slow, and sometimes it hiccups in the middle and doesnt load all your pictures. i hear there is a faster free image hosting network that I intend to use. my camera takes 10 mpg pictures and it takes like 40 sec for PB to upload, its crazy.

Cool, so jealous Cyrano! How much did Xan cost you (if you don't mind saying)? I don't mind at all. After all, keeping pricing information out in the open helps to keep prices fair. I was able to preorder Xan at Dengekiya.com through TokyoBuyers, so the cost was list price, 2,940 yen. The exchange rate (at the time of the order) pushed that to around US $33. Shipping within Japan and commission made the final price before international shipping $46.95. That's still almost double the normal Revoltech price, but I decided he was worth it as a "splurge." Also, having some four months of no other Revos to buy (Haruhi aside) helped the budget a little! |
