Hi Everyone, I lived in Okinawa when i was 4-7yrs old (from 75-78). My brother and I fell in love with the Japanese TV shows and characters and collected some of the toys. The shows weren't in English so we had no idea what the names of some of the characters were and I've since forgotten the ones I did know (still loved them).
In any case. I still have some of these toys and was hoping someone could help me ID them and maybe give an idea of their value (tho I do not intend to sell any - just curious).
Any help is appreciated.
How do I upload pics?
Thanks Dan

You can use photobucket.com, then link the pics here.
Or you can send me the pics through email, I will be happy to post them for you.

Here are the toys that I know:
The toy in the first pic, I have seen it but am not familiar with it.
The second pic, the one in the blue bike I think is the pilot of Great Mazinger, the UFO is from the UFO Grendizer series
The third pic, from left that’s Great Mazinger the other figures I am not very familiar, but I’ve seen it in the green arrow book I don’t know the names though.
Fourth pic, not familiar except for the Combattler V vehicles
Fifth pic, I can identify the brain condor of Great Mazinger (Red and white ship)
Sixth pic, UFO grendizer base
Seventh and eigth pics, Combattler V DX
The other members can shed light to the other pieces and can best give you the current value of these toys. I supposed these are loose items (no box).

Nice collection!
Mage got most of them. Here's the fill-ins (most are Popy, so I will only call out the non-Popy ones):
First pic - Ark Kong
Second pic - Goranger Red Machine, Tentolou (? - from one of the Kamen Rider series), Mazinger bike (this one too is throwing me - not a Popy), Grendizer TFO
Third pic - Great Mazinger, Kamen Rider Strongar, Blue Goranger, Bullmark Rockbat Blazer, Kyodain base in the background
Fourth pic - yellow guy is Robocan chef (Robo Kui)
Fifth pic - Mazinger Brain Condor, Takatoku Time Bokan Tentouki, unknown (maybe part of something larger, like the Orikawa set)
Sixth pic - more of the same
Seventh pic - Grendizer base, Kyodain base again, Machine Hyabusa Big Garry
Eighth and ninth pics - Combattler DX

The blue bike in the second pic is a Takara Magnemo. They list it as part of the Jeeg series, but looks like Elvis on there to me. ;D The figure on yours does not look like it belongs to it though: Nice collection by the way. Some rare stuff in there.

Wow - thanks for the quick responses!
I'm a little confused about the blue bike. I'll try to take a close-up of the rider tonight to see if maybe figures got switched at some point...but I don't recall ever having that Elvis looking guy...
To answer Mages' question - No box for any of them. I may be missing a few projectiles from some of the robots - I need to check it out. Also, alot of the springs to lauch the missles are in bad shape.
These toys were played with for many years - but the wear and tear isnt too bad. We were pretty careful with them (as careful as a kid can be i guess).
Since we were fans of the TV shows, we got these as B-day and X-mas gifts. There used to be more, but my brother has some and a few were lost or broken. I used to have 2 big plastic robots - about 2' tall. One was Great Mazinger and the other was from the same series..but I don't know the name. He had a blue helmet and yellow spike coming out of it...
Anyone know if any of this is worth anything considering the condition?

Ah yes, the Jeeg bike. But the rider is definitely an anomaly. I don't recognize the toy source of him.
dmizz, the 2' tall figures are called Jumbo Machinders. The other one you had sounds like Gaiking (although maybe Raideen also fits your description).
Yes, they definitely have value. The Combattler DX is worth about $150 - $200. The Grendizer base also commands a very high price. The Great Mazinger is probably the most common of the group, and worth about $20, so you can gauge the rest.
So does that vehicle in the bottom left corner of the sixth picture have any markings? I'm curious what is might be.

AH HA! Bike mystery solved - there were 2 versions! Or possibly 3, as I cant make out the riders on the back of the box. Where's the Takara datafiles dammit! J/K ;D

Thanks! So is this actually a Jeeg toy? From the rainbow colored logo on the box cover, I would assume so. But the rider looks like a Maz pilot. Did Jeeg have a pilot that wore this outfit?
In terms of Takara databases, I'd love to create one. I've been saving pics of Super Robot related Takara toys (like the Jeeg toys, Baratak, Godam, etc.), so I might try to create something (maybe not a complete comprehensive database, but at least more in the R-J website gallery). If anyone has pics they can share, let me know. Our member magnemo has a lot of these. Perhaps he can help out, too (hint, hint - if you're reading this).

Whenever these are listed they are listed as Jeeg, so I assume they have some connection (never seen the show myself). As for a Takara database, oh yeah, I would love to see one for some of the super robots. I remember when I first saw a loose Baratak Trotter 2 on auction, that was quickly removed, I went nuts trying to find out who made it. I thought TT or Bullmark for sure but went up and down the TBX datafiles with no luck. Had to wait for a boxed one to show up to find out it was Takara, so yeah, a database would have definitely helped me out.
