...ok the title of this thread sounds sick...but my Bullmark BP-23 Legger is really a bit "sick". He has some problems with his right leg. Looks like he's doin' the "moonwalk" ;D His right leg got stuck in this position! You just could move it a bit. left leg works normal----------------------right leg stuck in this position Now my questionI'm not a Bullmark-DX-Leg-Specialist, maybe one of you guys is one My theory is, that there is a spring inside the leg that jams the "knee".so the leg cant be moved anymore. Is there a chance to repair it? A secret Bullmark trick? I dont want to use brutal force to repair it. Does anyone have the same problem? Has someone a spare-leg for me, or a loose Legger? ;D

Wow, thats sad, but it does look like he's doing the moonwalk, lol.
I don't own one, but I would doubt there would be a spring in the leg joint. Has he always been like this or did it just start?

Hello Bill, just got Legger , got him out of the box, moved the leg a bit (I should not play with this expensive toys )..... and BANG...leg is stuck

Hmmm. Have you tried moving the right leg to that position (or further). I'm thinking maybe the joint in the left is overly tight or maybe some kind of substance got in there to make it hard to move it. Strange.

I tried it but i cant really move it...I'm afraid to break the "leg joint" when I use to much force. I feels like the spring inside the leg blocks everything.....arghh
But I just found a incomplete Legger but with a nice looking leg, maybe I've the chance to buy it.

Well then, like you said, will have to defer it to a Bullmark/Legger leg expert. It's too bad they didn't use screws on the leg - but then that would make it too easy. Otherwise, good luck with getting that incomplete one. Bill

yip.....thanks for help, Bill! Screws would be great... But Legger is even with his "moonwalk-leg" a cool guy

I'll try and bust mine out and check for you. Be careful with these Bullmark pieces. The diecast is grainy and breaks far easier than Popy or TT stuff. The chest plate on Legger for example, I've seen snapped in two many times.
Have you tried sticking a needle or a paper clip down there to try and free the stuck joint? That's probably a stupid question, but thought I would ask.
If I were you I would just buy another and replace the leg..

thaks for help guys! @ Erik SjoenI tried that too (needle etc), but no way. @ EdApropos Bullmark, did you remember when I PM'ed you a few weeks ago. Subject was this Boxed DX Header from Peru. Well, I won that auction and he arrived some days ago. Thanks for your "knowledge" help Ed, i love that robot! Your "price-range" tip was right...got it fo 210$. .....Back to Legger. But buying a second one is the best option. I could buy a loose one, but the red "leg-blades"dont look so perfect on this one. Changing the leg-blades is very complicated I think, maybe impossible, because Bullmark riveted all the parts What do you think guys, what is a loose (without fists etc) Legger worth? Does anyone have one for sale? .... Maybe someone wants to buy a very nice boxed Legger with a moonwalk-leg from me? He still displays good in box. edit/...i modified post a bit. not his left leg is stuck....its the right one!

This intrigued me so much I had to get mine down. There is indeed a little spring in the knee, recessed into the shin, and the upper leg is shaped to click into position. One mine, one leg is loose - the spring's there but it doesn't have much effect. The other leg did exactly the same moonwalk trick that yours has done when I moved it - locked itself into position. However, I'm not one to give up, so holding upper and lower leg firmly, I figured the weakest link would give first, and the weakest link was most likely the spring, so I gently forced it back upright. It worked perfectly. So - if you're at the point of buying another one anyway, I'd say give the current one more of a push than you'd like to - you might be pleasantly surprised.

Hi cybermuton, thanks for the tips and that you nearly ruined your own Legger and mutate him into a moonwalkin' Michael Jackson-Bot

thats true Jerilock. many of the Bullmark robots have these springs inside the legs etc to hold them in position...so everybody...dont play to much with your vintage Bullmarks! BTW I found a solution to "repair" my DX Legger! I got this one from Italy...ok not really a repair ;D Cause I didnt pay too much for my "moonwalk-but-mib" Legger, I thought is not so bad to give him some new legs....and lots of spare fists & rockets ...now I could play again! ;D
