Yup. The blue one. Looks better IMHO even though the red scheme is supposedly associated with Amuro Ray. I hope the exchange rate improves further before the processing is completed. But aren't most of Amuro's customs colored blue and white anyway? Like his Zeta Unit 3 (which is more of a purple, so I guess it's a mid point between the two, and Hi Nu?)

The red one comes with an extra base. I got mines on Friday and was surprise that it came with an additional display base that matches the color scheme.

I got mine on Saturday and I'm very impressed with the GFF MC Zeta Plus. Not too sure why there was some b*tching about the finish because in my eyes its very attractive. I don't have the RX-78, but having this guy makes me want to pick it up. For a toy that doesn't have too much metal it definitely has a nice heft too it as well as a great solid feeling. I think its a worthy purchase especially at the sale price.

I picked mine up at the post office today. Huge box. EMS is friggin' expensive, but it is FAST no doubt about it. Anyway, I was disappointed (again) with HLJ's packaging. The toy box wasn't wrapped in protective bubble wrap except for one side so it got a bit banged up. HLJ did the same thing when shipping the GFFMC #1001. You'd think that for nearly $50 USD shipping you'd get a better packaging job. How hard or expensive would it be to use some sheets of foam or bubble wrap? Oh well. The GFFMC itself is IMPRESSIVE. It's beautiful. Now to actually play with it...

I can see now why this GFF MC has more bare plastic. You don't really want so much paint because of likelihood of paint getting scratched off in the transformation process. Actually, even less paint in some places would have worked better to make for safer transformation. As far as the transformation, it's a bit more sophisticated than someone on this thread earlier made it seem. I like the clicky ratcheted joints. Nice. It's a very nice set overall.

Aside from model kits, the level of detail on this toy is just about unparalleled. Tampo printing everywhere. You need a magnifying glass to read most of it. You definitely get HIGH quality for the money. A variety of different plastics used in the right places. The leg attachment though becomes quite loose during the transformation process. Even though the whole lower leg assembly is meant to be removable so you can substitute it for the Booster variation, the fit here could have been tighter (at least on mine). Still an awesome collector's piece and terrific for display--something for others to gawk at.
