OK....someone please give me the scoop on the Chrome Laserion. Was it a salesman/factory reward or what?
I think it is pictured in the HyperHobby book or maybe it was THE Chogokin book.

-for what it is worth. I did hear from an old, old, old skool collector this weekend details. He said that he aquired one ages ago and it came in a standard Laserion box. He bought a big collection and was floored when he opened the box....

Are you talking about the DX, or ST set? And is it just the robot frame, with the innards still translucent?

The DX set. And I believe the innards are plated too. I'll have to recheck pics

I have this. It's in a regular box. Most likely a surprise gift to retailers. When I worked at KimonoMyHouse back in the day we had CASES of Popy Chogokin Hatchan. In one of those cases we found a chromed chogokin. Totally odd.. I've heard several stories, but until we (Alt or somebody else) get's confirmation from an EX-Popy exec, I'm calling it a shop exclusive. Random. Watch Toyboxdx.com for details.
