Thanks guys .. i now wish them selling the flight unit I knew you would love it! one thing about decals, they are a pain but using tweezers and a tooth pick help a lot. However, as you can see, they look fantastic on thier own with nothing done to them. toothpick? now how i didnt think of that! thanks lol, i've used nail cutter to cut off the lil extra peices from cutting. i also need to find the battery for the light up eyes

The PG Astray looks terrific. What kinds of features were worked into the PG by Bandai? Lights, removable armor?

Exactly the point my friend, that's the first think i thought when i saw that MG Astray. And Dead-man i'm glad you enjoyed the kit so much, these things are really fun to build. And trust me when i'm saying that you have one of the coolest looking Gundams out there. P.S.:I would highly recommend the PG Wing with the pearl coating. It's a real wallet killer but if you could purchase it with a good deal from somewhere you'd really enjoy this beauty

I'm gonna start painting my first kit. I was first going to cut the parts from the runners, line them up and then spray them, without connecting any. but when I tried painting before by leaving something on the ground the paint stuck to the ground. Or is it better to hold the parts and then paint them?

Hi all, Just wanted to add my 2 cents to this thread. Here's a picture to compare the PG Astray with and/or without the clear armor, so you can decided which on you really want! Feel free to contact me if you want additional and/or specific pictures. Thanks! -Q

Or is it better to hold the parts and then paint them? lol thats happend to me, yest its best to find a way to hold up the part while painting if you can, you can use tweezers or mini clips connected to sticks. or you can find a way to elivate the entire sprue off of the ground. However, when you paint with parts on the sprue, your gonna have to touch up because there will be sprue tabs leftover once you remove the pieces. BTW Nice hauls Q!!

even though he isn't as poseable as the strike i do find him more physically imposing and not just because of his huge crotch
