That's the SOC one, which is better to me than the Popy. It is a bit more realistic, it suits the SOC very well.

That's a steal! Nice bro, 100CAD is like $86? Nice. I like the popy even though it looks like a box with a chicken's head

Thanks. I would love to get my hands on the popy one too to display both side by side. SOC vs. vintage... That's a steal! Nice bro, 100CAD is like $86? Nice. I like the popy even though it looks like a box with a chicken's head

It's a big difference between the SOC and the Popy version, like 00silvergt said the one you have is more realistic inside and out. I might buy the SOC version either if it's on sale or if I decide to buy my 3rd SOC Voltes V, then I need the base to house them.

If I'm not mistaken that's the same aa the Popy DX version but just a reissue from Bandai. Released around 1984 as Masterpiece Re-issue series.

I didn't see that one, but watched this Popy original. I find it strange the original and reissue would go for the same price though, in same conditions - think I'd rather have the original for that price: page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e91982253 And yes Thornhill, uberrider So your in Ontario eh? Would that be Wawa? It's a big place ya know ;D

Actually its ETERNAL MASTERPIECE SERIES, usually mispelled as ETARNAL. Yes its a 1984 reissue. But this version is the most elusive of all the DX Daimos versions. Kim bought his for more than $3,000!
Oh, and I was also watching that DX in yahoo auction. Its a great piece.
