I don't know much about these, but I see them quite often. I do know that there's a pretty cool looking large base for this that kind of looks like a type of gattling gun rotating barrel launcher. I can dig for pics if you've never seen this.

Well, I found these pics in my archives, but they're not what I was thinking of. The box art is similar, but this was more of a ferris wheel type toy.

i saw the 1st few ep's of this anime......its cool.....i like the story but ep's are a bit dragging.......the new anime i found in here (Singapore) is japanese language but chinese subs...no english......sucks!!!

The Korean box set of the 2 original Galaxy Express movies from the late 1970's has English subs, and can be had for very cheap on ebay if you have a compatible player. The 1st movie is a condensed version of the original series with better quality animation, so it gets right to the point with none of the drag. Haha. I'm on a huge Galaxy Express kick these days, so it's very cool seeing all these pics of the vintage toys. Thanks for posting those, guys!

i like this anime Galaxy Express 999.....Queen Emeraldas......and Captain Harlock......space pirates ....i think it was all writen by Leiji Matsumoto......
although havent seen the latest version of Galaxay Express.....
