I had picked these up several years ago and have yet to figure out the manufacturer or the toy line these are from. I see these come up periodically on ebay but nobody seems to know what they are. I also have a few more of these that are broken as well. The one with the blue arms that looks like a Goldorak KO is marked Made in Hong Kong on the feet.

I used to have photos here ( toyboxdx.com/phorum/read.php?4,175026 ) but I see I no longer have them up. Basically, these have been issued under many different lines / names. There are many variations in both design and color. I don't even think the same company made them all.

well i had listed the 3 robots from above and auction just ended. i was surprised that there was much more interest in these than i thought would be. i started them at $1 they ended up at $36. Heck i would have been happy with $5 for all 3. maybe these were the holy grail of chinese KOs after all.

I saw the picture in this thread and joined just to comment here, lol. I got the orange and red robots in the above picture the same Christmas as I got my Micronauts. I believe it was either 1978 or 79, what a Christmas! I also got a third one that was a black and white color scheme, which made him a good background Stormtrooper figure. I think that I may have a couple of pieces of these guys in a box at my parent's house. They went through me then my little brother, so over the years they took some abuse. =( They were cool little toys and pretty well made for something not associated with a liscensed franchise.
Unfortunately, I don't remember what it said on the cards they came on. I think that they were just generic space figures. Where do you guys find them on ebay? If I found em cheap, I'd probably pick them up.

Welcome aboard! We're always glad to have new input.
I always love to hear about people getting these toys that we collect as kids (as opposed to picking them up as adults). I only had a few Shogun Warriors as a kid, but they are pretty special to me. Pics of kids getting these toys as presents are the best!
In terms of finding more of these, they're listed under just about anything you can imagine. However, they are much more common overseas (i.e., Italy, France, etc.). Just keep searching!

Thanks for the welcome!
I wasn't hunting these guys actively, especially since I didn't remember what they were called. But if I would see them on ebay or in my travels I would pick them up.
After Star Wars came out I went totally scifi crazy. Then I discovered the Micronauts and Shogun Warriors then Star Blazers came on tv. It was just one thing after another and I was loving it! So, when Christmas came along I guess my folks just started picking up stuff they thought I might like and these figs were some of them. That year I got Baron Karza and his horse, the Great Mazinga/Tranzor Z Shogun Warrior. I also got a 3 inch die cast version of him. I still tell my wife that was the best Christmas ever.
