Every time Hollywood decides to make a movie of any tv show, cartoon or toy they murder it. I wince in pain every time I hear they are going to ba$t*rdize one of our beloved characters. They manage to dumb down and homogenize all our favorites for a new generation. Please stop remaking or revamping our classics. The worst part of all is they never keep anything original. Everthing has to modified so that sell new merchandise. You know why they didn't use the classic TFs for the movie? Because they want new and exclusive versions from the movies so you have to buy new merchandise. It's shameful that those idiots can not come up with original ideas or characters. Each attempt gets worse and worse. Transformers, Dragonball Z, Spawn... the list just goes on and on.

Speaking of Transformers and why they didn't use classic versions, remember when some fans made and actual VW Beetle transforming into Bumblebee at Youtube? I think that was better than the movie, but I guess you're right, they want NEW figures for marketing.
