(Hope it's OK to post this here, I figured with the figma topic right there...) In a surprise move, Aoshima (famous mainly for their model kits) is entering the super articulated moe girl figure market with their new line called "mobip". According to HLJ the line will launch with Little Busters in July and move on to K-ON in the Fall! HLJ has two little pics here towards the bottom, but they're from Shizuoka Hobby Show so I would imagine better pics are out there somewhere. At first glance they look remarkably a lot like figma figures, all the way down to the clear, jointed posing stand. Don't really care about Little Buster, but I'm totally sold on K-ON figures, can't wait to hear and see more on these! (edit)OK, finding more pics turned out to be easier than I thought. Neko Magic article and galleryAparently Bandai has their hands in on this, maybe we'll get some lady mecha pilots down the road. Shoulders are a bit odd, not sure what to think about interchangeable panties, but I do love the way they're doing the interchangeable hands with bowling pin shaped pegs that shouldn't break, too bad you don't see to get very many hands this way. The size and price is right, though, about $25 for a 5" figure, but hopefully they can fix whatever flaws there may be by the time the K-On figures hit. Emerje
