Okay, for all those Macross snobs out there, I grew up with Robotech. So, for all intensive purposes I will be referring to characters with their Harmony Gold name.
Anyways, with all these great toy lines of action figures such as SIC and Microman, has there been any word of a action figure line based of the humans such as Rick Hunter, Roy Fokker, Max Sterling etc.? I have all the Matchbox figures and even for the time they came out, they are pretty crude. I'd love to see a new fully articulated series of all the Macross characters including ones we never saw such as Admiral Glover. Any thoughts or info?

Generally there's little interest for representations of mecha pilots, though every now and then they'll make some small figurines or dolls.

CMS had quite sometime ago a Mirya figure that goes well with the Yamato Quaedlum Rao and from another company a 12" figure of Hikaru Ichijo.

The Milia 639 figure from Yamato/CMS:  There were also Classic Macross Character Trading Figures that were released maybe 2-3 years back, with the secret figure as the VF-1 Fuselage/Cockpit. CM's recently released a 6 inch Lyn Minmay figure www.hlj.com/product/CMS65236There were some 1/6th scale Arii figures from the early 90's but the figures were discontinued. I have 3 of them. Minmay (Green Polkadot and DYRL versions), and Misa Hayase (swimsuit). Didn't get a chance to find the Hikaru one. |

I have the Miria. she looks good with the Q-rau but she's fixed pose. a articulated Roy Fokker sure would be something... i hope there's going to be a Revoltech Macross Character line!  |
