That is the Granzon. srwog.velv.net/og_mecha/granzon.htmlIt has appeared in SRW as early as SRW2 on the NES, and has appeared in SRW on the SNES, Saturn, PS1, and PS2, most notably in the SRW alpha and OG series. It is piloted by Shu Shirakawa. Shu and his Granzon are the main antagonist to Masaki Ando and his Cybuster.

MMmmmM! Such a fan of SRW mecha. I'm so far behind on my collections of these awesome kits. That Guarlion looks fantastic!
BTW, did anyone pick up that 1/144 Cybuster??

It's Raioh, one of the Dynamic General Guardians (the other two being Aussenseiter and Dygenguar) Looks like the mail order price will be 15750 yen (around $170), so try not to think overmuch about how big the markup will be. The way Kotobukiya keeps motoring on, there's a chance we'll get a model kit of this eventually anyway. EDIT: Oh, wait, it looks like it's from Alpha 3. Koto doesn't seem to be doing anything outside of OGs, so actually I wouldn't hold my breath on getting one from them

Booh! I want that robot so bad. Hopefully, Kotobukiya will run out of OG designs before long, still hunger for moolah and then turn to the non-OG originals. Wishful thinking? Maybe. I hope not. Kotobukiya's kits are great and I don't feel like burning over $200 on that Volks.
Speaking of which, I thought it was already out. It seems like I've seen those pics forever ago. 09/12/25 ~ 10/02/15 , what is that? The preorder deadline and release date? Or is it that 2010/6 in the paragraph under the large photo? June 2010? Long way to go if that's it.

Raioh is cool and all, but where the heck is RyuKuOh? Wasn't that one already in production and got delayed...? Why release a different figure first?

RyuKuOh, the Dragon Tiger King, mostly blue with heavy Chinese General motif, with a pair of white wings and a tiger head on chest. Its the counterpart of KuRyuOh (Tiger Dragon King - white Tiger bot with blue dragon head on chest), which released years ago.
It was announced with a release date more than a year (could be 2 years...its been a while since the line went onto hiatus) ago, but Dengeki Hobby apologized for a delay on the magazine, right on the verge of taking preorders. But disappeared ever since... So quite surprised that it didn't resume production, and release RaiOh instead.

Thanks for the update. Have been looking on & off for the preorder, looks like I've missed it. Hope I don't have to pay too much mark-up for it then. Was hoping to have it as my last piece of the line in my collection.

dengeki hobby do wonderful action figure , i got the srx set from them and i could say that is a stunning product even if everything is in plastic , just watch out for after market price because it go ridiculously hight very quickly ( for example the daizengar alone was sold for nearly the same price as the soc on yahoo auction )
