PAKs have been hit-or-miss for me. Some are great, tight joints, great paint, everything. Others I've had nothing but problems with in terms of weak joints - especially knees and ankles (my PAK DMC4 Nero cannot stand. Period. Dante, by comparison, is great). The way the knees are designed it's not really possible to disassemble them in order to try and strengthen the joints, either, so it's kind of like once a toy goes, it's relegated to the box or to the trash because it's no good otherwise. ... unless someone happens to know of a way to open up those knees without destroying the figure. I'd really like to have a functional Nero and Bayonetta  |

They aren't really mecha, but since they've come up before in this thread... Does anyone have Izanagi yet? I'm about to pick one up myself. With every passing day I'm becoming more and more addicted to SMT. I'm really glad these guys are being made. If only figma would keep going with the rest of the characters... Or at least the MCs. |

SMT = "Shin Megami Tensei", the overarching umbrella of Atlus' RPG releases. In particular, Izanagi and Thanatos are from the Persona offshoot of the SMT series. I'm in love with the fact that both Bandai and Max Factory are giving these games some merchandise loving with the Figmas and D-Arts - it'd be awesome if they expanded beyond the Persona franchise, though, as there are some other SMT figures and games that I'd kill for characters of (Like Raidou Kuzunoha or any of the characters from Digital Devil Summoner). I've got a Izanagi on his way to me through the mail right now and Thanatos on order - I'm hoping his back coffins will be a stable and reasonable affair to pose with. |

I think the MC in his Demonica from Strange Journey might make a pretty nice figure too. I'm with you on the coffin lids. I've got my fingers crossed that the frame supporting them gets switched to clear plastic too...it kind of stands out in some of the photos the way it is now. |
