Oh man, Bandai could've done such a way better job with this commercial. I thought they were going to replicate the anime intro with the GX-50, but they took the easy way out and used a picture slide show instead... Maybe Bandai needs to start visiting Youtube before they make a final decision on their commercials.

The commercial was pretty bad....
Is my eye deceiving me when I saw a big 3,000 YEN on that coupon on the slide with the launch base? I'm so getting it if it's really that cheap. Question is, how? Have any of you taken "coupons" and mail it in to a proxy service to get it for you? It's probably easier just to pay the big bucks for it, but still....

Is my eye deceiving me when I saw a big 3,000 YEN on that coupon on the slide with the launch base? Yes, it is, unfortunately. The base is going to be 18,690 yen. Maybe 3,000 is the shipping >.<

For Nanbara base, I think the price should not be 18690. This 18690 is the price of combattra after VAT (17800 * 5% = 890 + 17800 = 18690). So it is likely that the base can't be the same price as combattra.
But 3000 Yen is too cheap for the selling price.
If anyone here can contact Bandai for Nanbara's price and how to get it, pls help post here.
Thks ;D

Oh crap. GOTTA HAVE IT. ;D After this, all I need is a SOC version of Danguard Ace to go along with Combattler & Reideen, and the holy trinity of my childhood will be complete. ;D

Well, consider me oficially corrected on the Nanbara base... ga.sbcr.jp/mgangu/014238/According to GA Graphic, the price is 12800 yen, but there's a lucky draw 3000 yen price, unless I'm mistaken. A bit of an odd way to do it.

Maybe that's it, but I thought it wasn't actually possible to buy it without the coupon, so it would seem odd to give a 3000 yen discount for using it.

Ngee khiong provides clarification: I was reading it wrong after all.
"For Nanbara Connection Base, it's confirmed to be released as a Tamashii Web Shop limited item next year. The price is 12,800 Yen (inclusive of tax). However, there will be a special ticket with serial numbers included for Combattler V, and you can get 3,000 Yen off the regular price when you purchase Nanbara Connection Base with that ticket. Pre-order date and release date for this limited item is not mentioned."
So you can buy it even if you don't buy Combattler V (for those with the original, I suppose), but it knocks 3k yen off the price if you did get it.
