Because they're tryin to insight moshpits at the malls... they wanna see crowd-blood splattered against the glass toyshop doors, from frantic shoppers, hawkers, and collectors bludgeoning their brains out tryin to get first grabs at this release. ;D I've been watching Bandai SOC line on occassion... Bandai seems to kick azz whenever they produce an SOC with either That many accessories, or with speacial Extra features. (The last time was Raideen, and before that it was Voltes V, and Grendizer). This Combattler set should satisfy its fans well. zozo-magengar Intresting, why wait till a day before Christmas?

How can we get that base? This will make me want to get the new Combattler! Same here. The base is very cool. However, as much as I love to own it, it is pretty big. It will not be easy to find some spare display space for it.

I think the famous IKEA DETOLF glass case.. you can fit one in there-- in one of the shelves I mean..I am looking at my GX-03 Combattler and comparing the height of the base.. I think one base and one combattler will fit just right there :-) -- maybe :-)

why couldnt they just release it as a regular item? Im really getting fed up with paying a premium for an item that if released normally would be readily available to overseas enthusiasts instead of getting one on the secondary sales market...

I left a post on one of our member's threads in the For Sale section. It seems R-J member auctionjp may be able to help us get this thing, or so I'm hoping. Let's see what his reply is...

Hi, Refer to the advertisement by Bandai at Youtube, I would like to know what are 50 features or changes that they mention in Japanese language. Can anyone here help translate to Eng and post here Thks Combattra Fan Try reading the previous pages on this thread. Thanks for the link! We finally get the whole picture. So just to clarify, the Nambara base will be a Webshop exclusive and not a mail-away as previously thought. The coupon included with the Gx-50 will give customers 3000Yen discount for a limited time on the Nambara Webshop item using a serial code, otherwise, non-discounted Nambara will retail at 13,000Yen. Whew. That's good. The whole thing is still exclusive to Japan residents only though so I guess it's still Ebay and/or online ordering for the rest of the world. The details are also mentioned in this site. tamashii.jp/event/event_t.php?eid=00043&Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention, the Bandai Webshop starts accepting orders for the Nambara Base on Jan 8, 2010 at 16:00 Japan time. This isn't the release date yet, though, Bandai has yet to announce an official release date (I think). Gold

Um... wow! I've been out of the loop for way too long, I see.
The new Combattler looks excellent! The clear windows alone have me sold, but all the other features are welcomed bonus! Love the old school box tray cover too!!!
