I finally got it.. any one else kind disspointed by it. no story mode.. and i'm not even going to play online when its hard to pull of their supermoves. i can do it but there is no timing to it. so far ive been using terry bogard, joe higashi and kyo kusanagi. the motion seems slow some times and control and game play seems less fun.
i may have underestimated the finesse that streetfighter 4's mechanics.
well i figured out how to do the supers but this game really sucks. never thought i dreamed of waking up the next day just to go to electronic boutique to trade in a game. i tried the online gameplay.. ****ing super slow mo. and it turns out weird times the punch button doesnt work. it craps out also near the end of a game when im just playing agains the computer. as if it cant take the multiple tapping of the button.
this game is utter crap

Man, this is depressing news to hear.... I was REALLY looking forward to the new KOF. Shame it looks like SNK got scared by Capcom and Arc and decided to jump the gun release wise.... Either that or they ran out of budget... I still may suck it up and buy it just to give it a shot and hope they can muster a greatly improved KOF 13....

Yeah, I know what you're talking about, this game is a huge disappointment. I've been following KOF since the beginning and have always been a really big fan of SNK, but this game is a colossal leap backwards for the franchise. Sadly, this wasn't a matter of them getting scared and jumping the gun, this is a port from the arcade so it's exactly what they wanted. The Arcade mode is a time trial, there's no end boss (let alone a mid boss), no endings, no teams (heck you can't even recreate the teams of some characters, there's only two AoF fighters!), and no story. They also gimped some of the characters by making their strongest attacks weaker or decreasing the number of hits they do, got rid of fighter introductions and taunts, and removed the "winner screen" from arcade mode. This game was solely intended to be played as a vs. game. I know the people who play fighters against other opponents love it, but if you're looking for a good solo game this isn't it.

I am also disappointed... there's nothing wrong with the actual play, but it's true - there's absolutely nothing to it. You play the game and that's it. Not cutscene animations, no unlockables (that were noticeable I mean), and really not much of anything. It felt like I got better money value on Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix for my $20 compared to the $70 I spent on KOF12.

Our only hope that snk realize they did a bad move and makes an update with few more charecters stages and fix the broken gameplay

I was looking forward to getting this one after seeing some of the online gameplay, but it seems like everyone is saying that it stinks. I recently got Marvel vs Capcom 2 on the 360 arcade and have been playing it a bit. Getting owned though on the live online matches.
