Hm.... Is that ACTUALLY a Yamato planned release or are those all just wonderfestival exclusive toys? There's always a smattering of WF exclusives, but so far the Hot Toys snap kit version is the only mass release version I know of. It's awesome, though! The snap-kit figurines are great as well. I would LOVE more versions (particularly manga-designs) of the Landmates. I would buy every one I could get my hands on...

Here's the homepage of the guy who makes the wonderfest exclusive kits... homepage1.nifty.com/musuke/homepage1.nifty.com/musuke/event2008wf_s/event_2008_s.htmlLe sigh. I would love to have one of those manga-style guges ... MMJ: I'd recommend taking a look-see at the Hot Toys snap kits if you're interested in a landmate, as it's probably the only way any of us will be getting one any time soon. It's about $120 for 10 highly detailed microman-scaled figures and a 7" landmate. 5 of the figures are doubles, but even if you only manage to resell them for $7 a piece, you're left paying $10 for each figure and $35 for the Landmate. Pretty decent deal if you ask me, but then again, nobody did, so....

Are those pictures of the actual snap kit figures??? If so, are they pre-painted too? I'm pretty sure I purchased the box of the 10 figures one time they were on sale, but I never opened it because I didn't have the time to assemble and paint them. I don't recall selling it, so I still have it... I only wish I knew where it was!

ebay or big bad toystore if they still have in stock.
theMagzenger: nope they are all prepainted! you just have to snap them together which if they are like other snap kits should be pretty simple. But if you wanna get rid of yours........ lemme know

They're fully painted toy figures, all you have to do is pop the legs, arms, and heads on. Even Hot Toys 1/6 figures are labeled as "kits" often times, if you look. They're totally badass and yes, you really need to assemble them because the quality on them is amazing for their size. If you have the landmate, then you absolutely need to put it together because it's a major highlite of the set. (or, alternatively, you can sell them to me)
