Dangard Ace Gard Machine

I just got a loose Gard Machine in the mail today, and I can't figure out how to extend out the front wheels. Does anyone have this and can offer help? I see that the button is just for a missile launcher hidden under the front bumper (I never knew that was there), and it does not seem to affect the wheels. I tried to gently pull them out by hand, but there is no play.

Also, from the pics above, it looks like there are 2 missile launchers in the front. Mine only has a single centralized one. But mine includes a sticker over the face of the driver (which I don't see in the link). Maybe it came in a sticker sheet and had to be applied by the purchaser?
