Ah cool! When someone on TBDX had posted pics of the same ride out near Seattle, WA, I knew I had seen the ride somewhere on the East Coast too. Same ride must be at a few different amusement parks.
I've joked before that I would love to find one of those old Spazers, and convert it into a great goofy go-kart, to buzz around in a Duke Fleed costume, LOL!

There is a Grendizer pedal car that was produced. I posted pics in the past of it and many more awesome rides. I'd have to dig them out, though. If I recall correctly, Josh even put some up on CollectionDX (although it may just be the same ones in the pics above). Also, gilderdave, you're supposed to take pics of you in it!!

There's one of these Grendizer rides at the Family Kingdom amusement park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as well.

I tried, but they wrestled me to the ground and I just kept yelling, "I just want blast off like 'schewwwww!!!'" I got kicked out. Seriously, can someone give me info on this: robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=PopyJumbos&action=display&thread=15119I've joked before that I would love to find one of those old Spazers, and convert it into a great goofy go-kart, to buzz around in a Duke Fleed costume, LOL! There's a Hoffman's Playland right in my area! Next summer, for my Robot-Japan assignment, I will go there and snap photos of the Grendizer rides on the Samba! --------------------------- I don't know if this next pic is from the same park franchise, or the ride vehicle itself was probably a fleet of these made for several parks in the U.S. and overseas... Recommended for ages Me and up! zozo-mag

It's a beautiful thing to see how our favorite robot characters are passed along through generations in all sorts of media and recreational environments such as these amusement park rides. Even if the younger generation today don't recognize these robots, they still enjoy the these cool robot-themed things. zozo-mag

I know someone that owns a standalone ride with just one spazer (like the cars in malls/supermarkets that move up and down and back and forth).

For people in France, you can see a SPECIAL 100% GOLDORAK in the Christmas market now in AMIENS ! All Goldorak spazer. The name is GOLDORAK, and of course made at the end of the seventies, so that's cool to see it in this big city just in the middle of the market, with many children Inside! But sadly not me (between 3 and 12 years old!)

I know. Those rides are made for children. If us adults were to get on those rides they would break because of our body weight. Those ride vehicles are made of fiberglass, just like small boats. They're easy to carry, but also strong enough to support the combined weight of up to two small children. zozo-mag
