Wow! Those were announced nearly three years ago for a 2007 release (in time for the first new movie). I had forgotten all about them. They would have been cool back then, but there are so many better versions of the Evas now that it's hard to be excited (especially at that price). I can't say I expected these to actually get released. Some stores that had orders out eventually were forced to cancel them (like HLJ).

I dunno, that seems kind of cool in a hand-candy kind of way. If they were $10 I'd get a set no question, but they do seem a bit pricey, knowing how big stickfas are.
Still, kind of cool.

Well, Emerje beat me to it, but yeah, these are WAAAYYYY old news...and to boot, they are VERY likely never going to happen...
It's really too bad, I used to be a huge Stikfas fan, regular contributor to the Stikfans Asylum, and personal friends with a number of the major players in that community including Ban Yihn Yeow himself. I still have a large number of Stikfas left (too many to count, but somewhere around 100) and a fraction of that collection (maybe half) is still on display on the top shelves of my Stikfas/Xevoz corner.
So, when these were announced...and despite the fact that I was really happy with the new Revoltech releases (so much so that I sold off all of my older kaiyodo EVAs and never looked back)...I was really geeked to get my hands on them. I even pre-ordered multiples despite the fact that they were over half the cost of the much more detailed and much better first round of Revoltech releases and the fact that they hadn't even announced the full lineup of EVAs. Ultimately, I'm kinda sad that they never came out, but also kinda relieved, because I just don't think that I would have been as happy with them as I am with the Revoltech versions (especially some of the more recent EVA releases)...
I can't believe that these were announced well over two years back now, the time has just flown by. The company Stikfas/Mr. BanYJ was not doing too well last I heard. Their US following and sales had dwindled considerably, I'm not entirely sure about their Japan numbers since that market was a seperate yet equally large community as the US market at one point. They haven't really produced any "new" kits in quite some time as they have focused a lot of their efforts into pre-assembled blister packed items (costing the same price and including FAR less accessories) and recolored/repacked figures...
It's too bad really, they had a great product but they failed to ever really branch out and produce truly unique product like some of the customizers were creating. They focused entirely too much effort into minimally different body types, "normal" everyday professions, and the aforementioned blister packs. Not enough effort went into creating unique body types (fat, skinny, multi-limbed, etc), sci-fi designs, fantasy designs, monsters, and/or many of the other suggestions that the community offered up over the years. All things that would actually draw more attention to the brand. Ban had his own idea of what he wanted to create, and that's fine since it is ultimately his company, but I think that he missed out on a lot of opportunities to keep people interested AND bring new people into the community. The Evangelion figures being yet another of those disappointments...
Admittedly though, I have recently considered filling in some gaps in my collection from the latter waves of product that I missed. I've seen a number of really good deals on Stikfas items on ebay lately, so I may just have to do that...

There is a hobby store in redbank, nj (hobby masters) that has a very large collection of stikfas for sale. They run from $15 to $26 or so. I have a few stikfas, and they were cool at the time but now, they are so so.
