Since the bandai die cast version are out of my price range and are getting some really conflicting reviews. I was wondering if anybody had picked up these cheaper Macross Frontier VF100`s. They can convert into all three modes and look pretty cool.If anyone has any thoughts on em I would appreciate it.

the sky high prices of the dx vf-25 are also keeping me from getting it. Just save your money till you see the price settle rather than get the 100 scale which are parts-formers which have numerous parts.

Bandai's prices aren't THAT bad when compared to Yamato's, since you are getting a figure with more diecast plus a stand which most Yamato's don't come with.

the VF-100s are very cool, I have the 4 that have been released, I have 2 DX two ! the VF-100 are much more articulated the VF-100s were 50% on sale at HLJ, it's a must buy if you want Macross F valkyries !!! www.hlj.com/product/BAN954818they are in scale with 1/100 Gundam !!! but you have to find stands to display them !  |

yeah, i got the one with the cow skull painted on the back...i was sad that they seem so fragile. $50 lesson learned

not that fragile...those were ridiculous. If i can't carry it in my pocket or in my bookbag, it's fragile...which is alot of stuff, except GI Joe Sigma Six figs and DCIH Green Lantern.
