Either way, it doesn't do me any good as I've purchased from a proxy already and I'm not really getting any from Bluefin.

Bluefin also distributes Gunpla to Canadian hobby shops, it's sad to see their online shop doesn't ship outside the USA.

I finally decided to buy this guy from Bluefin this morning. I thought I could wait it out to see how far the prices on the og model on the second hand market would fall (if at all), and then hopefully pick up one at a price that doesn't completely destroy my wallet. After looking around a bit, it seemed like the prices (even for used pieces) didn't go down much. I finally said "screw it" and ordered the Snow White from Bluefin before it sold out. The price for the Snow White on Bluefin is too good and the prospects of it selling out and looking at >$500 on the secondary market was too great for me to justify waiting for something (falling price for the og model on the secondary market) that is looking more and more likely not to happen.

It's too bad that Bluefin gave no indication at all that they would have these available two weeks ago when the Japanese pre-orders opened, since most US based collectors probably got their copies through other means.

Yeah, I got lucky with that. One of the few times where my procrastination actually paid off.

Exactly. I could have saved at least a little bit over a hundred (that factors in EMS shipping to that amount.) This would have probably sold out the first day on their website had they announced they'll be selling it prior to the Japan PO going live. I hope Bandai doesn't interpret this as lack of interest for TWE items in the US market and stop offering them through Bluefin.

Amen. Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of announcement? I was hoping it'd be an official statement that they would start carrying these web exclusives as a norm.

Good move on preordering from Blue-fin . That will probably be the lowest you will see.

Tamashii HAS opened an official English language version of Tamashii Web for US customers, but it doesn't mention anything about Bluefin or the Snow White being sold by Bluefin. I remember reading that Bandai had purchased Bluefin as a subsidiary, so I'm not sure why there still seems to be a disconnect in terms of Tamashii Web Exclusives- the English site also advertises Jakie Chun Figuarts and Burning Godzilla, but I don't think Bluefin has opened pre-orders for those yet. The situation seems more complicated than it probably should be. The English Tamashii Web does look like it will have a proper US Tamashii Web store at some point and hopefully things will go smoother then.

Tamashii web exclusive are produced under demand so they sold as much as they can for a period of time (only if the demand surpasses their expectations and the time they calculated to produce that demand) they close pre orders. So if they make them available in the state they will be plenty of stock (wing gundam EZ gffmc was available for months at the bandai USA web when it was released)

Hi Guys! Here is MY take on this awesome figure, GMFF Zaku.. i knew it would come one day. Let me just say...get it...please. this figure is a top notch! Bandai brought it...FINALLY! Pros( 6 reason to buy? Teehee) 1.come on now, Its a diecast Zaku! 2.As far as articulation goes, its The BEST Bandai has to offer. 3.Over 90 percent of the figure is beautifully painted in matt. 4.Along with other many sliding panels, Even the side of the waist, has "a collapsing panel" (ala Sentinel to accomodate further articulation..) that's crazy! 5.source accurate "laser sharp" sculpt 6.its pretty big and heavy...especually when its "fully strapped!" Constructive Criticism 1.This is one of the wobbliest figure i own..it might be a weight distribution issue. It stands fine but it sure rocks back and forth at the slightest touch...WTH 2. The awesome spiky diecast shoulder pad/armor's paint app is not as laser sharp as the rest of the figure...there are some tiny paint bleed. 3.nitpicking now, As far as i can tell, there is NO metal inside the head nor neck area... It "feels" like very convincingly painted plastic to make it "look like metal.....shady. 4.styro coffin and PVC(vinyl) parts... 5.ugly "floating" shoulder joints...but i knew it going in but still. 6.also knew go8ng in, no clicky joints...bad tradition on this line. 7.another bizzare Bandai tradition, a rear skirt piece not articulate. It prevents "potential" leg/hip movement....youre weird Bandai...annoyingly weird. $250ish seems tobe a norm for a premier figure these days...sigh. Again and again, comparing to SOC Lion, it will lose ALL day long.. BUT, if you ignore "the golden RULER," this is a figure i recommend whole heartedly. Its one of very rare Bandai figure that actually worth the asking price. Oh and before i forget, thank you GPA for pointing me to the right direction. This review wouldnt have happened without you. I will give this figure a solid 9 out of 10!

Bandai site having a couple of items (and the Exia Weapons Plus Pack I didn't buy because the way they had it listed made it look like just the extra weapons, SMH,) and then it just kind of... died. I'm hoping that there's a real synergy between the U.S. and overseas going forward because it's been a long time coming and particularly with Bandai owning Bluefin there's literally no reason for them not to.

That is good price from BlueFin - but I don't live in the states, but happy for those who were able to snag one. I'm quite happy with my purchase from Mykombini for 30K + shipping, not bad at all looking forward to this Snow White
