I finally opened my Gouf and Ramba. Looks great together. Gouf is pretty awesome. But I have to say, it didn't give me much surprises, as it is almost identical to a GFFMC Zaku, aside aesthetic parts changed. The attachment design for the Gattling Shield is actually a little disappointing. Very small flimsy tabs with a lot of disassembly tiny parts holding the thing together, and not that firmly on the arm. Not sure why they designed it that way. Full shield is also quite long and heavy. so I display with the short version, don't want the weight to loosen the elbow swivel.

Great figure, but didn't feel too different from all the previous Zakus.

This is no zaku boy! That being said, I agree with you, but I loved it since Ramba may be one of my favorite UC character (and build also). Also, did not try full shield since I went with the 0079 equipment.

Yeah, Ramba is a very cool and memorable character. Even in the old show, he oozes badassery during his encounters with Amuro in the desert/inn, and of course, during the fights. He also plays a big role in Origin, and nice to see a younger him in action.

One thing I noticed is that Gouf doesn't have as many panel lines as the previous Zakus. Not by a lot, but it gives it a plainer look (but not necessary bad). Less lines on the lower arms, thighs, and when you look at the top of the head, there is zero panel line and just a smooth plain dome. Took me by surprise (just a little).
