Yeah... I'm still waiting for the blueberry zaku I, but seeing chars zaku I in clearance makes me lose my hope...

I think Zaku I in general were never that popular, since they were already using Zaku II by the One Year War. I did pick up a Char Zaku I on clearance.

I still can't understand this to this day, why Char's Zaku I sells so bad. Its really cool in my opinion, and its Char's version with decent screen time on the Origin show, and not like we get a high end Zaku I figure very often. But it was on huge discount almost the entire time (40-50% OFF), making it cheaper than a Metal Robot Damashii. I don't even regret buying it at normal price if just looking at the toy quality. On the other hand, a crash-dummy yellow RX-78 is more sort after.  |

Having the two red Zaku I & II displayed side by side actually is very nice, and an actual nice transition/evolution on display. Though I think I have enough Zakus now. If I end up wanting the Doan's green Zaku custom later, I'll sell the green Zaku II in exchange. The only variant of RX-78 I really want is the upcoming red GM. I can live without those Gundam variants.  |

I read some Charr Zaku 1 has a QC issue of loose neck and misalignment on “the chest door / pilot access”.…
Loose neck apparently is an easy fix with placing a tiny piece clear plastic bag/film “between” ball joint.
I got mine on clearance too but haven’t opened it yet so I don’t know for certain.
