I finally got around to watch the movie today. Doan didn't use ANY guns or bazookas at all! So really is an odd decision to include all those weapons. Also just noticed the High Mobility Brown Southern Cross Zaku on one of the pages. Dang, I really want one of those, but like the Tri-Stars... who is dedicated enough to get FIVE? Not to mention they gave Doan's Zaku weapons a blue tint. On one hand, it seems like a nice move so collectors are not getting more copies of 100% identical weapons. But on the other hand, that also means that you can't really mix and match the weaponry without some color mismatch. The short barrel bazooka they added is cool though. Possibly a new variant they added in this release, while all the longer variants were from the older Zaku releases. And of course Bandai will put the even nicer Heat Hawk with translucent effect on the Sleggar GM. "You want Doan's Zaku in its full glory, buy the GM!" |

Im already waiting for more different tri star units to form the full squadron. I hope they release Johnny Ridden zaku though... (and guncannon and guntank please!) |

He is pretty cool in the old series, even though all he used is the Core Booster with no special GM. With Katoki redesigned the Core Booster in the movie, I wonder if they will release it in GFFMC at some point.     |

I have the old version (got the grey RX78-3 GFFMC) buT I would surely buy an updated version with the right color scheme... As an UC fan I can avoid getting excited when I see GFFMC and MB lines giving it some love.

Maaaann I just realized I slept on Cruz' Zaku II PO Guess I'll have to hunt one down after release. Such a bummer. I hope it will be available without too much of a markup. Shouldn't be hard to find the Zaku, as long as you look right around release (heard it will ship very soon this month or next), with plenty will be floating around on Yahoo Japan auctions and Mandarake. Even the sort after MB Event exclusive Strike Noir was readily available the first few days of release. Though whether being cheap or not is another story, really depends on demand. You were right about Doan's Zaku II, I was able to pick one up via Amazon JP at about same price as if ordered from US P-Bandai. It's on the way to me and I'm very excited. |

Yes sir, but also isnt... they took some liberties with the design and added some things like the side skirt blades or the shield (that belong to the anime version). It is cool but I'd rather it would have been more accurate. Anyway its Hajime katoki approach to EW designs. Even when wing zero was more accurate it seems this line will not be about accuracy. |

So, the Metal Build Nu Gundam arrived the other day and finally had time with it yesterday...
As is all figures in this fantastic line by Bandai, this is one handsome robot. Man, is it stunning to me. Hefty too. As always, gotta be a bit careful with all the sharp/corners on a figure like this. Only complaint I had was getting the funnels attached...that was an exercise. Still, great toy. Happy I have it and now, praying praying praying that Bandai loves us enough to release a MB Wasabi...

It was officially translated and available on amazon or other US sites. There are 14 volumes in total and have all been translated.
