How can you tell wheter certain Volt in Box is version one or two or three? I read somewhere in an old thread here, that blue tray and black tray of the missiles is one of the pointer and of course the red and yellow joint is another, but overall I still am not sure which one which
Anyone has picture of those three versions?
What is the version of the one that include five little monsters? Is this version is considered more rare or valuable than other versions (with the exception of version one, I suppose) ?

This has always been a bit murky. But after some heated debate, I THINK the first Voltes Version had the chogokin pen, the yellow arm joints, and then the Chogokin "Bible". Next the arm joints were changed to red. Finally, version 3, the toy came with the rubber monsters.
So far no one has definitively proven this (to me at least)....so there may be some arguing after this post.

there are two pen styles. one has the combattra rocket punch and the other is a sleeker design, no rocket punch. the red armed version comes with the rocket punch pen as well.
