do you think there is an excellent chance the dinobots will be reissued. I am thinking about selling my dinobots all are in good condition, joints still stiff. but with no accessories..
Need the money so the sting of spending a grand (canadian) for voltes v doesnt hurt so much.

Yes and no.
On the one hand, I'd say it looks like Takara's been making a serious effort to get out all the car robots and early Decepticons first, but on the other, there's been a tremendous demand for these guys to get reissued soon, and it wouldn't surprise me if Takara or Hasbro decided to listen.

I'd love to see dinobots reissued. Of all the transformers I owned as a kid they're the ones I most vividly remember. Not surprising really as I didn't really like cars or planes much, but I loved dinosaurs and robots. They were the perfect combination. So I too hope that Takara or Hasbro will listen to us fans and put them out in the stores again.

Well here's a question to ponder:
Assuming Takara does reissue them, do you think they'll release Grimlock and then maybe release the rest later on, or do you think they'll release them all at once (or in consecutive waves)?

If they're releasing them as part of the book-boxed reissues then I think it'd just be Grimlock and maybe some others later down the line. I'm no real expert on this sort of thing, but I've got the impression that Takara and Hasbro are fairly cautious and conservative when it comes to what they rerelease. Personally I'd love to see all the dinobots released in a number of waves, spreads the cost, but gets us them all.

Hasbro's definately overly cautious, but Takara might surprise you. Last year, they restored all the original Heroic Autobot molds and produced one of each for a special display at a Japanese toy convention, advertising possible upcoming reissues. Pretty ambitious on their part

Well if they do re-release the dinobots I hope they release Swoop!
I still have the original TAKARA diaclone Snarl from my younger days and its MIB. I had a swoop and had quite fond memories of it..
But being a favourite toy it eh....well, you know the rest ;D
I just don't know why Swoopy always demand such high prices on eBay!!
