wow loved this game growing up.
maybe one of the earliest robot video games I played growing up (but deffinitely my first transforming robot game!!!!

hahhaa yeah.. I had that on apple IIe. Monotone yellow! I wouldn't mind picking that one up. I'm curious how much they've added into the mix of the game play.
I never could finish that game.. that game is impossible to beat!

My first PSP met an unfortunate and untimely end. Trust me the saga is long. Let me just say this; make sure you quickly get EVERYTHING out of those airport check station baskets. Unless you want someone snatching it and dumping your precious portable gaming console all over the (hard) floor!  |

That sucks bro! but nothing is worse then having an angry gf toss your ps2 across the room! anyway i think i played this game way back when because it seems so familiar, then again reminds me a lot of defender...... so i maybe confused with that.
I have two psp's but never playem........ they just sit in my car...

recca74 ..... aww man well at least you can get a psp slim (not sure about PSP go... after seeing so many reviews... there doesn't seem to be any benefit of getting that format). mechamasterj- yipes ... consider getting all your consoles screwed into the floor boards (something to think about  ) |

well they arent bolted in but they do have specially made compartments for em..... but pretty much they are for show lol

I have it. Damn it's hard. 1 life only. No energy replenishment on each stage and no continuing from where you die. That's the sucky part.

yeah.. its the new one... I think the old one is at least 20yrs old... you can imagine what the graphics looked on it when it came out then.
still havn't gotten around to getting it yet.
reviews arn't great.. But I took the review with a grain of salt. The person reviewing probably was just born or not even born when the original came out.

Thexder Neo is in the PSN store for the PS3 console now, so you can enjoy it on your regular TV. There's also a demo. $10 for the full game! Played the demo and it's pretty neat. I'm considering a full purchase actually. |

Same here - tried the demo and damn it's hard... feels like Contra with a jet-pack (and then transform into a jet to get to higher ground). It feels really weird... not sure if it's because I never got into such old-school design. I feel like I can barely control the fighter-mode (all I do is activate shields and then ram everything in sight). I'm thankful that the "battloid" can auto-aim though. Wouldn't be the first time I would spend $10 on something I barely ever finish. |
