alternator sideswipe should be alternator tracks.. His transformation and looks makes him look like Tracks more than sideswipe.  |

Yeesh, that's scary. Looks more like an old DX Gobot than an upcoming Alternator. I just don't see that guy standing next to Prime and Smokescreen. There go my fears that this series would be over-articulated and not bricky enough By the way, Otaru, you have the coolest avatar I have ever seen! |

Update I heard--
Alternator = Hasbro(USA) = Less diecast, more plastic = cheaper = Smokescreen will be released in December
BinalTech = Takara(Japan) = More Diecast, less plastic = not so cheap = Smokescreen will be released in September

From what I've heard there's no trailer with the Prime. I'm not particularly bothered, he looks good enough without it.

On the one hand, Prime hasn't really had a decent trailer since 1987 (Powermaster version) but, on the other, wouldn't Armada have been the perfect time for a really solid trailer with a base mode for mini-cons? The one they made was so geared toward electronically transforming into those brick pants that the base mode was completely compromised. Sad. They missed their big chance.
