the x-bot animals seem to be dancouga knock-offs without the ability to combine with some zoid parts mixed in.

This HappyWell company has had some acclaim in the past from BBTS and other outlets. They started with their Road-Bot line a little while after TF Alternators hit the shelves. People say they're sturdy and look pretty nice in person. I've seen them sold in WalGreens and various truck stops over the years. I hate to be a bot snob, but I wouldn't add them to my collection. The plastic on them is pretty good, though. Not like the thin, crappy, nothing-really-fits-the-way-it's-supposed-to, knockoff plastic.
I do think that all their designs are original - though HEAVILY influenced. They do throw in some light and sound gimmicks (which I hate). Overall, I'm pretty sure these are intended for the kids, not the collectors.
Actually, I do kinda like to see these new companies throwing out some bot-related products that aren't simply purchsed/pilfered plates.

I would get it just because i am a fan of dancougar. They look like they are all the same size.

I´ve been tempted to buy a Shadow Dagwon knockoff from Happywell that´s been since forever in a local Super Market. Does anybody have it? Is it good?

They've bootlegged alot of the braves just repainted them and they've also bootlegged armada/micron legend megatron

I only wished that they could learn a thing or two from such asia based companies like Fansproject, Justitoys & etc.
No matter what it is, I still feel the quality of their stuf are just sub-par dat's all.

I don't know how much others have paid for their stuff, but I bought their silver and blue Valk for $5.00 with $5.00 shipping off ebay, and for a total of $10 I felt it was a worthwhile purchase.
